Not too many details as yet but looks like some of the internal structures have come down at Etihad. Doubt tonights game will go on... crumbs what do I do now?? "Early reports were that Etihad Stadium's roof had partially collapsed. Bill Lane, from Etihad Stadium, said management was "assessing the situation" with AFL on whether tonight's blockbuster NAB Cup game between St Kilda and Fremantle would go ahead." HS

ggaaaa (rolls eyes... sighs..) appalling listening. Pack of poor mans Rex Hunt's...
-
Or the fact that he moves very well for a big bloke who has only had two touches in two weeks... Needs games games games into him and hopefully he will turn into a player for us. Nothing to worry about.
-
uh........ really? No he did not make the trip he played last night.
-
I understand the rational behind it, the sitting down.. back related.. have to becareful etc etc, but it is only to Adelaide it's not like he is flying 4 hours to Perth. I hope he didn't sit down at all last night after he played.....

Also we do not have a strong onball group picked for the game with Col, Beamer and Davey (even though he spent most of his time across half back last year) out. There could be a fair old lack of supply into our fwd line this week. Will be intersting to see the defensive pressure the fwds apply this week as Adelaide stream out of defense with such speed.
-
Not to sure about that. The Dees have been very deliberate for the last few years about how they are going about developing players and resting players. I don't think we will see Col or Beamer in the next two weeks. "rest/freshen" them for season proper. While they have played the younger ones to get game time in they left the likes of Swinging (Dunne) and Greeny to come in for a couple of runs. Or I coulde be talking absolute rubbish. Who knows.

http://www.afc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/4417/newsid/89939/default.aspx Adelaide's once formidable forward line has been the hardest hit. The Crows have included second-round draft pick Jack Gunston in the team to take on Collingwood in Alice Springs on Friday night and Craig said he would continue to experiment with forward line options over the next three weeks. "We know Patrick Dangerfield can play up forward. He did that last year, so that always remains an option and we know Scott Thompson can go forward," he said.

Not sure about belting from Crows, only reason being they have no fwd line of note. They struggle to kick goals.

1-6. Only win Tiges. Small potential for 2-4, North might be the only other win but the pressure tactis they have been playing (even though it is preseason) will cause us into turn over city. Could be a thrashing. Will be very very happy for my negativety to be sorely tested!!

Spent 12 months in the UK and really enjoyed some of the comedies they put out. Gavin and Stacey - Took some time but really gre to like it. It is a bit like Kath and Kim (I did not like Kath and im at all) aking the [censored] out of Welsh and Essex types. Smiffy is very funny. The IT Crowd - IT geeks working in the basement with a lady who pretends she knows IT but has no idea and has to deal with them daily. How not to Live Your Life - 29yr old guy who can not make a good decision to safe himself battles through life.

What ended Richo's career??? Just because he was years early doesn't mean he wasn't correct.
-
The only benefit of him missing a qtr of the season (as a guess) would be him being able to try and add some upper body size.
-
HHhahahahaha WTF, why do people take themselves so seriously?! You guys do a fantastic job, if a little hard line to placate a screaming conservative minority, but none the less a fantastic job to look after the place.
-
I saw the Dons staff do the same thing after 3qtr time too, including a very very stricking blonde staff member who caught the attention of a lot of lads around us....
-
Where to?? A time machine for two years time.
-
Jurrah had the games best fullback on him today... moved up the ground and did some ok things.
-
Opionins... everyone has one... Also it has been mentioned before but Skulls kicking does lack some penetration, didn't make the distance from set shot 40m out with a slight breeze which should have helped.

Not harsh at all. He did provide run out of defense and really backs himself. His skills today (even though it was damp conditions) were ordinary at best. Again as per usual our skills are close to the worst in the comp. We work really hard at stages to win the ball then generally run it over. Grimes - Excellent though the middle Joel Mac - Backed himself with run out of defense can get caught out on his direct opposition as his pace is not great but does provide great support down back. Sylvia much better this week and looked like the player from last year. His confidence has grown seeing him try and take a hanger on the out wing in the 2nd and jump clean over a Bomber but completely missed the ball. Midfield provided a lot more run and seemed to have more inside 50's but we could not convert early. Newton only played after half time and even though conditions were slippery he still just looks a step off the highest level. His pressure and chasing were his highlights. Bail little bit of run. Bartram looked like he spent a bit of time away from tagging and was ok but nothing outstanding. Again he seems (along with most Dees players) to run himself into trouble and turns it over or misses a target. Bell was ok. Fitzy is a long way off it, looks lost out there but will be able to use this as valuable experience followed by fair amount of time at Casey. Jurrah seems to be trying to fly from behind a lot but he was playing on the best full back of all time and our fwd set up is not great. He was moved up the ground at points after half time and showed clean hands compared to most. Great below his knees. Dishes off and usually finds the right option. Maric was a lot better today. He worked hard and was able to finish with 1 goal should have been 2. He seems to find some space but tends to get missed with the ball. Petterd again was improved to last week we just need it to be consistent week in week out from him (and the rest). Thats just some of my observations I'm sure there will be varying ones.
