Isn't it actually the WADA code that could see him banned for 4 years? So not the actual AFL drug code as such, even though the AFL code if he was caught using would see him suffer no penalties. They will be able to plead it down and he will get a slap on the wrist in the courts won't he? You see it every day for goodness sakes.

You will not get a park within 5km's on Stkilda on that day. St Kilda festival is massive and getting bigger every year. The only thing with Jetts is in my eyes, I thought he "blew" up pretty quickly last year during games. Obviously understandable for a 1st year player so I'm really interested in seeing how much this has improved this year. As mentioned above his pace does not seem to be as good as Benny's so his tank will need to be improving for a number of years. As to Cam's napkin 22 will be interesting to see how it has changed from few months ago to after the draft....

I think the dangerous tackles changes is just making the game basketball even further. I mean what % of injuries are associated with people being slung or having there arms pinned over a weekend let alone a game, it would be very small. So the AFL then goes and makes the rules stiffer for the defensive side of the game. Geeeebbbuuussss one of the reasons I enjoy football is because of some of the forceful nature of it ffs. It is a, sorry it was a physical game but now every year it is further and further diluted so the AFL can try and keep up with a rubbish, soft game like soccer and keep worried parents keeping there kids involved in the game. That is what has made our game great and so much better than every other sport in the world.

I used to enjoy wandering by be it on the tram, on the pushie, car or walking by and seeing the flag. They used to have a female manequin on the balcony as well, always dressed to impress!

I lived about 100m up the road from that place at the time and used to go past it to work every day... Was a sad sight seeing it at half mast for so long. Does the Dees flag still get out on that place? The manequin was always interesting.

But falling through a plate glass window precludes him....

I just can not wait to go to a game, every game with the anticipation of winning/being competitive. Instead of the sense of dread going to the footy is these days. Are you serious? He is one of the fittest blokes you will ever meet. I bumed into him and Hoppy on the train one day. They were off to a bar in Prahran...... Hoppy is enjoying life outside of footy and Stinga looks like he should still be playing the game, looks as fit as Benny Cousins.

WJ the Marngrook Footy SHow is a really good program, it is nie to get a different perspective on footy.

McNabb does have a little history of playoff issues but the Iggles have not been able to have an effective running game to help get there offence moving. Dallas D has been improving over the 2nd half of the season.

Maybe a square up as they generally travel every 2nd week during the season proper....

Sad way for his adult life to begin with, especially since he talked with The Age about not being that kind of person again before the draft. Interesting to see Lovett is likely to be charged by the police for rape. The Saints lose Ball for nothing, give up an early pick for Lovett and it doesn't look like he will turn out in a Saints jumper. Have not heard much about Hurley's beating up of the cab driver since it happen.

On the flip side Ned we were not really trying to win games last season, some even say we might have manufactored a loss or two. I think (I hope) we will see much improvement and at least another 4-5 wins this season but we will still be a long way off the top sides.

Seeing Brent Grgic in the blue and white hoops was tough to swallow.

In patches last season he was easily our best lead up fwd. His major down fall is his lack of seperation from his opponent, he can't get any. If he can improve his take off speed he will improve ten fold as our lead up the ground fwd.
