As I mentioned in another thread I find it interesting and disconcerting for us that Balls manager told us to stay away and give him space yet St Kilda's list manager is in NYC as we speak.

Balked a dinning cart, sold some candy to the bloke in aisle 2 and delivered it with precision by hand to the waiting bloke up fwd in space...

Nice work Jaded. Great effort. As someone who likes some less than usual clothing some good choices to be had. Only issue are the hats.. only train driver hats on the list? No flat billed caps for the younger audience? What about socks? I enjoy wearing socks pulled up to my knees whilst wearing shorts in winter and no socks to choose from.. Good luck the potential next steps Jaded, as yuo mentioned our current apparel is below standard and it would be great to see a Dees fan be able to improve it.

I think the Dees vs Tigs game was the worst game of AFL football I have ever witnessed. I went with a mate who is a Tig's fan and we were laughing by midway through the 2nd term and in hysterics by the end. It was the least skilled game of football I have witnessed coupled with the fact we were trying to loose make it the worst game I have ever seen.

Agree. Even though he is still young, was pciked up underage etc etc I'd like to see a lot more from him this season. He has only shown small flashes so far.

QC every Footy show Brownlow "Street Talk" segment the presenter is drunk 95% of the time. It is par for the course for the show so nothing else would be expected of a presenter.

Alcoholic? Isn't he more of a binge drinker? He can go 6 months of a footy season without a beer then turns into a fa rkwit in the off season. Not sure what a detox clinic has to do with the issue at hand but no I have never seen the inside of one.

Mate come on now, you are sh tting me right? How can you say it was someone elses fault when he has a history on the booze, he puts himself on an alcohol ban during footy season until he retires because he knows he is out of control when he drinks and he goes and does it again!!! This time it was at a televised AFL event. He made his own bed. Where is personal accountability? As to stopping him, how many times have you been in situations where you have seen your friends out of control, tried to stop them from doing something silly to themselves or others but in the end not been able to do anything as that person just will not listen to rhyme or reason? It is almost impossible to "talk someone down" when they are in that kind of incoherant state. It was a state he put himself in by starting his drinking session at 2pm!!! It defies logic that it is someone elses fault, why should he need a baby sister every time he goes out on the town with his mates?

If we make a pitch to him and he tells us no.. you going to chop his head off (listening to Wu Tang clan as we speak)? All we can do, if we are interested is put a proposal to him, it is then up to Ball if he wants to come to the bottom side, with very little experience on it's list. Does he want another situation when he first arrived at St Kilda? Or does he want to play out the next 3-4 years (doubt his body will hold up longer) at a club in the hunt for flags? I think he will say thanks but no thanks. It might be a couple of years before we can attract so called big name players to our club.

Very well put. I was really unhappy reading that article. I would have loved to have witnessed a draw game in the AFL grand final, seeing them coming back the next week and who could gut it out for the win! It is a great concept and I would think almost unique to world sports (yes we are a world game we play against Ireland sometimes.... with a round ball.. with soccer goals...). I can not think of any other sports I know where extra time is not used to find a winner on the day.
