Agree nightmare! It is just too long between finals, trade week and draft days... get it over and done with in a smaller time frame lets move on and worry about who is "buring up the track" and "flying" this time of year. And to hear/read/see all of these mock drafts and top 25's is so over rated. BP and his staff will do there business, we'll hype them up no end over preseason and drag them down saying they are no good after 4 weeks of the season... ahhh better now haha!

ha I'm sure he has "flash in the pan" pinned to every available space in his house to guard against such things.

Two different stories they couldn't quite tie together in the middle. On there own two amazing stories. Great to see a positive story about aboriginal communities and role models from the community.

Yea I agree, it has the potential to drag theyounger folk in through the gates too along with some of the ladies too. Just read an article in todays age of a survey the MCC in England ran that showed test cricket is only popular in 7% of surveyed in India think 20/20 was popular in 58% of the surveryed....

Agree, I must be getting old (only 32) but I can't stand 20/20. I only really enjoy test cricket now days, it is an amazing contest and the level on concentration is phenomenal.

Flash in the pan? Isn't flash in the pan something that flairs up then dies down? Whilst I agree we have seen a glimpse of potential he is no flash in the pan just yet. I also think with a few preseasons let alone a full preseason we will see something special from LJ.

I will never listen to anything Mr Hunt is on, he is the worst commentator going around. All I want to hear is the footy, the game, a detailed description of the play itself, who is playing well, who is out coaching the other coach etc none of the other rubbish this fella gets up to.

He did and traditionally I think we have found it hard to recruit experienced players as quality, established AFL players generally don't want to come to MFC due to this perceived softness about our club on the field and poor off field. Russell also had an axe to grind with a sookie rant as he was delisted. I think we will be turning around this perception over the next few seasons. Also don't go anywhere, stay around and keep posting. I have no idea why "people" (the faceless, nameless) rant and rave about people freely posting on an open forum MFC supporter or not. It is good to see an outsiders view even if you don't agree with it.

AGREE! For goodness sakes he wants to be able to play (work) where ever he wants, so be it. He will hopefully be not vindicated in his descision if he gets to Pies or Dons. BUT I do hope Port picks him up for a laugh.

He was so exciting to watch when on. The maligned Cam Bruce was his main opponent for a numbers of years for us and handled himself well as Richo smashed us most times we played the Tigs

I like to see the Dees snatch someone who is training at another club in the PSD. haha. Like Jurrah last season take a player who another club has paid to have a look at and we snatch them away, if they are good enough for our great club of course..

After the turn playing the Pies on QB we play 8 out of 10 games on Sundays.....

If a player does not fit into the Dawks "unsocial" football club (on and off the field) then there must be some points to the guy the young Dees list would not want around. As another poster mentioned very few players are delisted with a year to go on a contract. We had Carroll can not think of too many more, but I'm sure the knowledgeable on this forum will be able to let us know any other recent ones.

Is this the same Teamelbourne we were a part of? We are not listed as part of the member clubs. Also I think they mean Insolvency.. http://www.teamelbourne.com.au/ That worked out well for us...

Damn it not as much footy for me this season... Great for the club, not great for my MFC viewing as I play/coach footy Saturdays.

People keep saying his body/groins are rubbish.. I think Melb are in a good position to offer him something out of left field that other clubs can't IF his body is as soe as non-informed fans suggest. TIME.... time to get his body as right as it can if it is not right. We don't need him out there winning us games next year give him time to heal before we push him out there and it could be a massive pick up for us.

I think all the other clubs laughed behind there hands when Kepler and Josh "declared" clubs of choice to play for... no one else would have wanted them. Nick Stevens didn't quite make it to Collingwood through the PSD (not sure he nominated the Pies in the PSD but he wanted to be traded that way).
