  1. I can’t add to most of what has been said above …….. I’m broken hearted like the rest of you! We were out played and out coached. How can it all disappear within the space of a week? Agggh!
  2. We all love it when Demonland is ’up and about’, and despite Ross Lyons best efforts to dampen our mood, he has no chance! Dees by 30 / 40 points, after a dour struggle for 3 quarters.
  3. I started listening to this week’s episode on Tuesday afternoon, and promptly fell asleep 😡. I reckon I’d be the one and only Dees fan to ever do that ……. but I do have a valid excuse. I’d just arrived home from hospital after minor surgery in the morning, and the effects of the anaesthetic hadn’t fully worn off. Never fear, I tuned in again from the beginning on Wednesday, and hung on every word, as I alway do ❤️💙. Thanks guys for hard work, and another outstanding pod.
  4. Vines in for Spargs (injured), is the only logical change imo. If we play like we did against the Lions and the Swans, we shouldn’t have any problems beating the Saints ………. but note the ‘IF’. Personally, I’m disregarding the big ‘IF’, and I’m extremely confident of a comfortable Dees win. I’ll be truly ‘gutted’ if that doesn’t happen! Go Dees!
  5. What a great win, exemplified by: Team ‘buy in’ Team pressure Team camaraderie Go Dees ❤️💙
  6. What a win. Team! Team! Team! Kozzie - electric, and nobody could curb his influence. Max. - a colossus, and nobody could curb his influence. Tracc - a dynamo, and nobody could curb his influence. Clarrie - he’s been building towards his best, and he’s almost there. The joy on his face, was a joy to see! Salo - best game for a couple of years, and Salo at his best is special. Bowser - continued his stellar season. Too many apologies to list them all, but I feel compelled to mention Lingers, Disco and Riv.
  7. A simple recipe for a Demonland celebration later today: Sustain the intensity; Build our skills and decision making, on the back of the new game plan starting to come together; Feed off the growing confidence and belief from the Brissie game. Combine with: arguably, the most in-form lineup we’ve fielded all season; and Tracc’s 200th I feel a celebration coming on! Dees by 40, going away!
  8. From Richo: “Jack has been slowly improving, but unfortunately is not quite ready to return this week," Richardson said. “He will continue to progress through the concussion protocols over the coming week, and hopefully be available for round 12.”
  9. That was truly open and honest interview, and it says a great deal about Tracc himself! He said that he wears his heart on his sleeve, and he sure does!
  10. Outstanding! Thanks for sharing.
  11. Win, lose or draw, I always love the Pod, but this one had a bit of an ‘edge’. I could feel a glimmer of excitement, that maybe our season isn’t yet dead after all! Not over the top, but just right. Thanks guys, for all your effort in bringing it to us.
  12. G’day guys. A couple of related questions for you to ponder please: Over the last month, both Vines and Clarrie have played critical roles in quelling the influence of a key playmaker in the opposition’s midfield. With Vines likely to return from Concussion Protocols this week, who do you think is likely get a ‘run with / run off’ role against Sydney (or will it somehow be shared?) Heeney and Warner are key playmakers in the Sydney midfield, and are both in excellent form. One or the other seem likely to be the target of a run-with role. Who do you think will it will be? Thanks, as always, for your hard work and passion.
  13. Oliver - significantly blunted Neale’s impact, and was very impactful himself. Clarrie’s best game for two years, and if it signifies that he has ‘turned the corner’, then look out! Melksham - a lynchpin in our forward half. Regularly ‘confused’ and out-manoeuvred Andrews, and kicked like the pro that he is. Gawn - Max was Max. His ruck work throughout, and marking in the last were crucial. What a leader! Bowey - another excellent contribution, with great (tough) defence, reading of the play, calm head, and precision distribution. Rivers - tough as nails, and worked his [censored] off all day. His third quarter (in particular) was very influential. Petracca - another strong game (as we have come to expect from the champ). A few fumbles, and some ‘iffy’ disposal at times, marked him down a bit. Several who I could have squeezed in for a vote include: Disco, Kos, Lingers and Chin.
  14. For AJ at least!
  15. FOUR quarters of grit, guts and determination. Love the Dees! ❤️💙❤️💙
  16. I’ve supported our mighty Dees for 70+ years, and even through our darkest of times, I’ve always been optimistic. That ain’t gonna change now! ❤️💙 Based on no logic at all, I’m going for us to keep a ‘flicker of hope alive in 25’. Dees to fall over the line by 4 points.
  17. Heartbreaking in the extreme. I can’t begin to imagine how his family are feeling right now! RIP Adam
  18. Casey players doing their very best to emulate their senior counterparts in most aspects of the game. So frustrating! So many things need to change!
  19. Many thanks for the reports folks! ❤️💙 They make the final team makeup even more intriguing!
  20. An ornament to the game! RIP Wallsy.
  21. Another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ pod guys. I truly loved your balance, integrity and honesty, in a show that might easily have been nothing but bitterness about ‘the one that got away’. I could honestly feel your heartfelt disappointment, and your ongoing passion for our beloved Dees. Thank you !
  22. Gawn - a bit less dominant than the last few weeks, but still our best imo. Precision ruck work, marking around the ground, amazing endurance and a ❤️💙 heart as big as the MCG. Langford - great skills, toughness, footy smarts and maturity way beyond his years were all on display. Has future star written all over him. Petracca - did the usual ‘Tracc’ things that we all love, but I thought he was a bit ‘rushed’ at times today, which took a ‘smidge’ away from his overall contribution. Bowey - back to his consistent best, after a quieter game last week. Read the play beautifully and precision disposal was a highlight. Lindsay - another youngster with all the attributes of a future star. Many of them were on display today ……. in particular his ability to get out of a tight spot and deliver to a teammate in a better position. Pickett - lit up the ‘G’ on quite a few occasions, but went quiet on others. None-the-less, he was a regular ‘headache’ for the Hawks, whether with the ball in hand or running down an opponent.
  23. Please Dees, just give me 4 quarters of pressure like the first three, and accurate goal kicking when we have the game on our terms …….. and an even hand from the umpires would also be nice, thank you very much!
  24. The ‘Mayblooms’ will lose their petals today! ❤️💙
  25. No late changes. Kolt is sub.
