Agreed i think if they accepted a voluntary suspension waiting on the result (which they have invoked) they should not be able to train with the club The fact they can is a disgrace

The problem is they are already in provisional suspensions and have been since the end of the season. A provision sentence allows them to train with the club but backdate it if found guilty Unbelievable really

The deal or discussion between little and Gil was regarding them standing down voluntarily... This is available to the players thus if they stand down at the end of the season and the court case, show cause gives them a six month ban in January the penalty is backdated as the player stood themselves down Just tricks to reduce time away from the game... They can't train at windy hill but can train together so surely essendon will just do training at another venue...

Depends if ASADA give them another extension to their show cause... The judge didn't issue an order saying they couldn't issue infraction notices but said he would be disappointed if anything changed ie don't do it... Essendon are screwed they are playing the fair hearing type defence rather than looking at their crime... The fed court has no ability to stop show caused etc (can rule evidence out possibly) but an appeal into the affair has to court to the court of arbitration not the high court

The reason you give a hamburger is because the highest charge or most serious which is intentional cause injury is hard to prove as you have to show he intended to cause a serious injury and there was an actual serious injury etc etc. The lesser charges are easy to prove and if the police can't prove one part of the intentional cause injury then he will get all the others as assault is the act not what occurs after or what was intended. The whole thing will come down to the level if injuries sustained. With intentional cause serious injury there is usually 3 other charges with it. I think he might of assaulted at least two persons hence the reckless cause injury charge.

The charge is intentionally cause serious injury which can't be heard at the magistrates court... He is heading to the county court with the next hearing for the police to issue the brief of evidence to him

The other thing that will be interesting is if the club gets penalties... Under the rules if two or more players go from a team then the team can be stripped of points booted from the comp etc etc As all the players look like going it was a club based doping program and the stripping of point last year for corporate governance issues should be only small fry... I look forward to the bombers going down especially how arrogant they are... They just introduced Dr Reid into their hall of game. The only disappointment about Bernie is we gave up a pick which is the same issue with Dawes!!! We have players taken off us for nothing but have to give up picks to get players... In the end Colin for Bernie is great value but one club gave up nothing the other gave up a comp pick!!! You play 100% for the club you are now doesn't mean you have to give up your past... Cross will remember himself as a bulldog and Vince may (due to age) remember himself as a crow or dee but rivers will always be a dee so will Bruce and McDonald... I sat on the IQ last night watching the game pausing at stoppages and when they panned out watching what players were doing and who was picking up who etc Watts was fine... He ran with his man all the time and didn't not put in... Occasionally he should of hit an opponent hard who was shepherding him but he choose to stay on his feet and be involved in the next play, whilst I don't agree with his decision it's obvious that it's a coaching directive to be on the outside... Most of his tackles effected the disposal of the swans player although again I would prefer he ride them to the ground He wasnt great but the response in this thread is of people who have never played the game... A perfect example is cross was 3m behind jack at a stoppage and jack ran from half back to his fwd 50 to kick a goal(1st qtr I think ) ... Cross was 3 to 5 behind him the whole way but couldn't catch him and he turned to watts and said something and people blame watts!!! Watts was running back covering the corridor( what he should have done) and should never of went to jack who just outrun cross but people blame watts!!! It's the same as people watching our mids have 30 touches each and only 31 inside 50s and thinking it was our Fwds who had a bad game!!! It does work like that!! It shouldn't be like that and we should get picks according to our circumstances but we should of got one his year bur things like hogan coming on the list stopped us. People forgot we only got that pick because our first pick got stolen from us but the afl is about looks not fairness

Kali666.... You really have no idea about mental illness!!! Yes he was earning a lot of money but that actually caused some of the issues as he thought he had to deliver! Having seen 3rd world countries first hand they appreciate what they have and yes depression isn't overly present but unless you have tried dealing with a mental illness you fail to understand what it can do to a person and think a harden up attitude would solve it... It really isn't that simple but unless you experience it you will never believe its real It's been around in past generations but we accepted drinking angry domestic violence which hid there real issues

If frawley leaves and we get a pick after our first round it would be considered a priority pick but if he doesn't leave then we may get a priority pick after first round Sadly if frawley leaves we won't get what should occur and that's reality because the afl is all about perception not fairness
