Alan Richardson on SEN (15/2/21)
ï»żRichardson on Luke Jackson on SEN today "It's as if he hasn't read the book on how to be a tall player. "He rates tackle, groundball, chase etcetera as highly as he does marking. It's like we have another onballer."

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MAJAK DAW
If tennis is an âessential serviceâ in Victoria then so is footy.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MAJAK DAW
Demons hand AFL lifeline to Daw Door open for discarded Roo after receiving invitation to train with Demons Iâm not sure what to make of this. My recollection of Dawâs form on comeback was that he struggled. This is virtually a second lifeline and he has also had personal issues in his life of late. Things wonât be easy for him given the physical and mental barriers he has to overcome. Itâs almost a flashback to last year and Harley Bennell but at least the club is thinking outside the square.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MAJAK DAW
Well, that was quick. The Herald Sun is running a story by Rebecca Williams dated today headed âLocal Footy: Ex-AFL stars set to play local footy in 2021â âWHERE ARE THEY NOW? MAJAK DAW The former Kangaroo has found a new football home in the northern suburbs where he will play alongside a North Melbourne great. Daw has signed with division one Northern Football League side North Heidelberg for the next two seasons. The 29-year-old will link up with former teammate and AFL games record holder Brent Harvey and will also play alongside his brother, Anthony. Daw was delisted at the end of last season after 54 games for the Kangaroos. He made an inspirational return to the game in Round 9 last year after recovering from a fall from the Bolte Bridge. âWe view the arrival of Majak as a big plus for the club as we look to consolidate in Division 1 of the NFNL after our third position finish in season 2019,â the club said.â At least Majak will feel at home with the Demons at Casey Fields. If I remember correctly, he might have played a game with some of them in a composite team for players who didnât make their AFL teams last year while in the Sunshine Coast hub.

Baldwin wouldnât have been a great option as heâs recovering from a second ACL.

2021 Injury List
On a brighter note Ben Brown is the father of a new baby girl. I saw the announcement on Instagram and, after congratulating the new parents, made a plea that he doesn't sit her on his knee for the next few weeks.

AFLW: Rd 02 vs Richmond
I wouldnât get carried away by 2-0. Our opposition has been ordinary. Still, a winâs a win and two wins are two out of two which is a 100% record. However, North Melbourne and Fremantle appear to be the front runners and the big tests are yet to come.

The No T$ No B$ Thread
I tend to agree. in light of recent events, the longest thread on Demonland should be restored to its rightful place in our media. Unfortunately, that place was filled very quickly after events in Washington a month ago, so for the time being, itâs returning to our General Board. Apologies to those who might be offended by the contents of this thread.

Casey Demons 2021
That Will Bravo might sound like a West Indian cricketer but in fact he apparently goes well at football. He was added to the train on playing list at Hawthorn as a potential supplemental draftee after Tom Scullyâs recent retirement announcement.

2021 Injury List
I know itâs belated but we can add Ben Brown to the list. It was also a âminor procedureâ so probably - 4 to 6 weeks.

TRAINING: Friday 5th February 2021
I also echo my thanks and appreciation to our track watchers. Iâm interested in Luke Jacksonâs position this year. Will it be as the back up ruck for Max, a key forward or as a wingman or even a midfielder?

Sarcasm?- AFLW: Rd 01 vs Gold Coast
And thatâs all she wrote. Dees 56 Suns 35. Now get me outta here.- AFLW: Rd 01 vs Gold Coast
Not much scoring. The stingâs gone out of the game.- AFLW: Rd 01 vs Gold Coast
Perkins gets her second - Suns trail by 21 points at three quarter time.- AFLW: Rd 01 vs Gold Coast
Thatâs Horeâs third - lead now 28 points.- AFLW: Rd 01 vs Gold Coast
Reply from the Suns. We lead 49 to 27.- AFLW: Rd 01 vs Gold Coast
First blood to the Dees - Petrevski.- AFLW: Rd 01 vs Gold Coast
At this stage of proceedings, Karen Paxman (sponsored by Demonland) has my three votes. Her attack on the ball is ferocious and sheâs a constant avenue of supply to the forwards. Iâm really impressed by the standard of the game. The ground is in magnificent shape (especially in light of the number of games played here last year), the surface is like carpet, thereâs a light breeze and despite the humidity, conditions are great. The marking and kicking are so much better than in the first couple of seasons. Lily Mithen is also up there with Tyla Hanks and Hore and Cunningham are dangerous up forward. Daisy has been hovering around not doing all that much but directing proceedings with her experience. There are very few Demon fans here so Iâm quiet at the moment.- AFLW: Rd 01 vs Gold Coast
Hore gets slung around the neck and with the resultant free goals on the siren. Melbourne 7.1.43 to Gold Coast 3.3.21 They should travel up in game day more often. - TRAINING: Monday 1st February 2021
