  1. Each game you're looking for signs where you think we can compete come the pointy end of the season. To me, the backline is doing very well, and that's it. May, Lever, Petty, Salem and McVee all did well again. The rest is a huge concern. We lost contested and uncontested possessions, the inside 50 count, the centre clearances, contested marks, marks inside 50, etc.
  2. We have some big issues. The rucks were abysmal. Beaten in contested ball. How bad is Petty? Disposal of Rivers, Brayshaw, Bowey and others a huge concern.
  3. Absolutely. No way you can give him votes.
  4. 6. May 5. Salem 4. Petracca 3. Viney 2. McVee 1. Jordon
  5. So disappointed with Brayshaw, Kozzie, Grundy, Gawn...
  6. Not great but not bad. 10 possies, a goal and 5 score involvements.
  7. Good: Steven May, McVee, Viney, Petty and Lever. Decent: ANB, Jordon, Langdon, BBB and the Melk. Terrible: Max, Pickett, Rivers, Angus (40% disposal efficiency).
  8. Saints showing us up for effort. Sad.
  9. Been incredibly disappointing this season aside from his four goal haul early in the season. He doesn't have to rack up 30 a game, but more than six disposals a game would be good.
  10. It's a collective problem. None of our mids have elite kicking skills. We are an exceptionally strong see ball get ball team. The game plan is to bomb long to an outnumbered forward line and hopefully scrounge a goal more often than the opposition. It's not a good system but one based on our skill set.
  11. That was the game! Pathetic execution.
  12. You put ANB there but not Bowey? OK then!
  13. Tracc's problem since day one is his ball drop. Too high, and too inconsistent. Needs to drop the ball from knee height not hip height. Also leans back far too much.
  14. Gawn is certainly a worry. Giving nothing up forward and little around the ground. Grundy has been serviceable but the much-hyped combination hasn't worked for the most part. If anything it has ruined the balance of what we had.
  15. Really? Rarely sighted? He's averaging 30 touches a game. Had 41 against the Lions and 33 and 3 goals against Freo.
  16. Geez, reality bites. Those inside 50 and shots at goal stats are incredible.
  17. Football seems insignificant when compared to the cricket!
  18. The lack of a decent small forward and midfileders that can consistently hit a target is our biggest issue. Why Chandler, ANB, Kozzie etc keep getting games is beyond me. The message it sends to the Casey lads is terrible. Then the lack of mids that can actually use the ball is also telling. Tracc, Viney, Sparrow, Brayshaw etc are great ball winners but ordinary users.
  19. You are on the drugs that killed River Phoenix!
  20. 6. Viney 5. Bowey 4. May 3. Salem 2. Traç 1. Langdon.
  21. A team with ANB, Chandler, Harmes and Smith in it won't ever be top four.
  22. The problem again is the small forwards. Chandler, ANB, Kozzie and Melk simply can't get it done. Don't expect Brown or Smith to get many looks.
  23. ANB stuffs up everything he touches.
  24. Why? Flanders has always been a ball butcher. I wonder if he'll even make it. Georgiades is not a key forward. Less skilful version of Fritta. Not what we need.
