  1. You know, you can make your point without resorting to insulting name-calling. As someone over the age of five, you know that, right?
  2. Before our Geelong match Jeffo told me he would be available for selection. He didn’t say he’s a chance, he said he’s a cert. I asked Jacob (our club doctor) if this was so. Jacob said no, it’s not. I told Jacob he may wanna have a little chat with Jeffo coz it appears delusion has well n truly set in 😅 Jacob said it’s understandable that Jeffo thinks he’ll be right because he’s not far off being available. He then went on to explain that this injury is entirely different to Clarrie’s injury in terms of healing. He said the metal plate in Jeffo’s hand is in a position that allows a range of ability without exacerbating the injury. That’s me simplifying a bunch of stuff he said but he also added they won’t be rushing Jeffo back in and that while it may seem a premature return when he does return, it will be the right time. At the time, he said possibly vs Essendon, if not, vs Freo.
  3. We can hope to win Tattslotto this weekend, too. That’s probs more likely to happen. 😅
  4. Worse than Collingwood imo. Collingwood supporters are repugnant but they’re repugnant no matter where they play. Port supporters away from their home are like any other supporter base, but when they’re at home and there’s an abundance of them they become next level despicable.
  5. That was incredible. But it wasn’t two weeks. It wasn’t even a week. It was two matches five days apart. When the fixture was revealed remember how angry we all were? And rightly so. But we pulled off two wins against the odds. Both wins were fantastic but the win over Port was extra special. It was even worth the drive-by bottle of water to the head that I copped while waiting at the traffic lights after the match. #Port=NextLevelSoreLosers
  6. That’s the chance we take. We like living dangerously 😁
  7. No, that useless bastard is officiating at our game. 🤬 That useless bastard ⬆️
  8. Are you planning on doing this all night? Need to know if I should put you on ignore. Actually, [censored] it, I’ll put you on ignore anyways and hope no one quotes you so I don’t have to see your annoying comments
  9. Nibs 💖
  10. Andy takes the time to find a pic for a poster. When he posts what he thinks is the desired pic he’s told “No not the one i [sic] saw.” Where’s the “thank you for trying to find the right one”??! it’s common courtesy ffs
  11. Again, you said… “The fact that we've had so many of our best players with a foot out the door over the past few years should be enough to get Goodwin sacked on its own” ⬆️ This is to what I referred. Nothing else, just this.
  12. I’m not sure it’s a permanent thing. I think it depends on what day of the week our game is scheduled and if interstate travel is involved, as well as when the shared facilities at AAMI are available, and they work around these factors. I can find out for sure though 👍🏽
  13. A lot of grey area involved when you’re talking about players wanting/attempting to leave a club. Nothing is proven. Who do you believe? Looking in from the outside, It’s largely speculation and guesswork. Players who’ve actually left a club… well, that’s an absolute. Is there a substantial difference? When you’re discussing the sacking of a coach, hell yeah there’s a difference, a huge difference. Just to remind you of what you said… “The fact that we've had so many of our best players with a foot out the door over the past few years should be enough to get Goodwin sacked on its own”
  14. “Players with a foot out the door” Interesting metric. I’d sooner go with something solid like “Players with both feet out the door, ie. gone”
  15. Noah has a sparse covering of downy hair on his sweet little head 🥹
  16. Yeah, that’s Will’s nickname. He told me this at the Season Launch. He said it’s because he’s in the pool at every opportunity.
  17. Tommy Sparrow’s 100th this weekend. The banner says: TOM SPARROW - SWOOPING IN FOR 100 GAMES Pretty cool that his milestone game is in Adelaide. His family and friends will be out on the field when he runs through the banner.
  18. All good, YB. I’m sometimes too sensitive and I’m trying to change that but I’m a work in progress. Thank you for explaining. And while I wouldn’t say they’re favourites, there are two players with whom Goody is extremely close, and that’s Clarrie and Koz. Both of these guys regard Goody as kinda like a father.
  19. Is that a trick question? 😁
  20. I think each case should be looked at individually, ie. no blanket rule. Imo Judd should absolutely come straight back into the seniors. His absence has been relatively short and his young age likely means he’s healed earlier than an older player would. If confidence and eagerness is also taken into account, he’s more than ready.
  21. At Gosch’s last Thursday a dog ran towards the boundary line and looked as though he wanted to run onto the field. The owner got there in time to put his lead back on and walk him away. The funny thing is the dog had a tennis ball in his mouth. I turned to the Demonlander next to me and said imagine the apocalyptic melts on DL if a tennis ball was on the field. 🙃
  22. Yeah. It’s at Casey behind locked gates and it’s where the serious stuff happens. It usually goes for two and a half hours or so and there’s nary a soccer ball to be seen. Edit: tomorrow’s session will decide if X is available for this weekend. He was “almost there” for the Geelong match, so I reckon he’ll pass the test tomorrow 🤞🏽 Also Judd’s been told he’s looking good for the Freo match and he’s delighted with this.
  23. Surely you know I’m gonna say he doesn’t have favourites, and that’s because I believe he doesn’t. If he does, he sure hides it well. I took issue with your comment because I think it’s highly disrespectful to suggest a head coach selects his “favourites” over others in the side. That’s so unproductive and extremely unprofessional. Do you really think, especially at 0-4, Goody would prioritise mate-ship above everything else?
  24. Set up the guillotine y’all. The boys have a day off today. I know right! How dare they have a day off when we’re 0-4! I’m so outraged that I’m gonna flood Demonland with my ridiculous whinging and whining. And by day off I mean there’s no scheduled training of any type. Many of them choose to train in some capacity on a day off, some are involved in footy clinics for kids or visiting elderly and/or ill fans. But still… wah wah wah 😩 Also, they all attended a club function last night, a trivia night with player-sponsors, and get a load of this… they were having fun!!! Preposterous!!! I even saw some of them laughing!!!
  25. How can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat?
