  1. Why is this a sad thing?
  2. WRONG [censored] THREAD!
  3. My entire family is Carlton. I’ll need to stock up on defibrillators for when Jack goes to Collingwood. 😁
  4. The Bulldogs are a joy to watch.
  5. Definitely would factor into it, along with other things. On Tuesday he said he can’t tell me the reasons the announcement has yet to be made, but he confirmed what he’s been saying all along. He’s not leaving the Dees. Lily is also happy at the Dees and I can’t see why they wouldn’t offer her another contract.
  6. Uhm…. thanks?
  7. if it was up to Big Kent he would’ve debuted months ago 😂 He’s champing at the bit.
  8. Kinda special that Jai’s a Demons supporter and always has been ❤️💙
  9. There’s simply no pleasing some people. How about we all get behind Jai and hold off on the nasty [censored] for five minutes
  10. The questions aren’t meant to be hard-hitting. Your answers are.
  11. I spoke to some of the “Irish dancers” before the match. Not one of them is a trained Irish dancer. Their outfits weren’t traditional Irish dance attire. There was nothing Irish about the whole thing. I know a lot of folks enjoyed the novelty but personally I found it a bit of a mockery. Clearly the club didn’t consult the relevant people.
  12. Don’t mean go all Karen on your arze, Wrecker, but that wasn’t Irish music. It’s a hymn called “Lord of the Dance” and it was written by an English songwriter and based on a traditional English carol. And I know this because Sr Margaret Mary used to make us sing it every single day at St Aloysius college much to my parents’ chagrin. 😝
  13. Agreed. You don’t go to a concert and expect to see/hear snippets of a footy match.
  14. Yeah coz that’s the topic of this thread 🙄
  15. Please @48 Year Now … read Go Ds post again. You seem to have misunderstood what was being said.
  16. Define “a look.” Not sure viewing for hours on end is sneaking a look.
  17. We know we’re in trouble when Roosty throws the towel in 😭 Before your care factor totally bottoms out maybe as self-appointed boss of training reports you could do us track-watchers a solid and issue an order to the perennial sadsacks to take their [censored] sadarze [censored] to another thread. TIA 👍🏽
  18. I’m on it, Binners!!!
  19. Thank you, DZ. Of all days, yesterday was one where I couldn’t NOT turn up. It’s not easy. It’s actually bloody hard. The looks on some of their faces broke my heart, especially the young boys. I wish all those who relentlessly bag our players could turn up to Gosch’s on a day like yesterday to see the hurt on their young faces. Troy Chaplin and Chin were walking together and Troy said to me “I didn’t think you’d be here today.” Chin said “I did” and smiled. And that’s why I’ll always turn up.
  20. There isn’t flexibility, Kev. Every form of training be it individual or as a team or in groups is structured, and lengths of sessions are set.
  21. I was there today, DZ. I’m there every single time. I’m just done with posting training reports because the training threads are now just as unreadable as every other thread. The nastiness and negativity is too much.
  22. Triple. Let’s triple the stake. You in?
  23. Hey DD, no need to fear for Judd. I’ve never had a surer bet in my life. I’ve just proposed an upping of the ante. Let’s see if Fence is game.
  24. How about we up the ante? Let’s double it. Two bottles to the winner.
  25. Say hello to my little friend… Bought a couple of these at the local milk-bar ($4.50 each!), so much caffeine it’s not funny. This’ll keep me going ‘til the first bounce, then I’ll have anothery. Dare iced coffee lightly carbonated in a can, sounds revolting right? And it is. It’s disgusting but once you get it past the gag reflex it’s fine.
