  1. Good for us, of course. But I feel bad for Jesse ā˜¹ļø
  2. Thereā€™s no precedent to look at. It wouldnā€™t surprise me to hear airlines arenā€™t gonna take circumstances into consideration; refunds wonā€™t be given and rescheduling flights would incur a cost. Hotels and Airbnbs etc. will probably be a little more flexible and understanding. I feel for the travelling teamsā€™ cheer squads and fans who wouldā€™ve booked flights and accommodation when the fixture was released. What does surprise me is that our clubā€™s not involved. This situation is peak MFC. šŸ˜‚
  3. A Dogga quote from Oct. 2022ā€¦
  4. Yeah I just saw this. Itā€™s a huge loss. BBB is such an asset for any club, for too many reasons to mention. This is so sad, but itā€™s clearly a good choice for him. He has a young family and needs to prioritise them. Sure gonna miss him.
  5. Nooooo!!! What a massive loss for our club. We will most certainly rue this. And of all clubs why does it have to be Essendon šŸ¤®
  6. BBB should most definitely be offered this role. I donā€™t know if heā€™s gonna continue to work with our girls this season but since thatā€™s unpaid work, Iā€™m guessing it canā€™t be sustained and we might lose him to another club.
  7. They may do it differently at Casey fields but at Goschā€™s it seems a low priority. Sometimes none of the coaches are even watching let alone schooling. Or if one of them is watching, heā€™s watching all set shots at the same time. Also, it appears the players are choosing for themselves from where to take shots. Itā€™s also not a lengthy part of the session, always at the end, and conducted while players have left, or are leaving for the rooms.
  8. The vicious circle rears its ugly head. Confidence is eroded with every set shot missed. And without confidence, set shot misses are bound to happen more and more. I donā€™t know a solution for this but I dearly hope someone at the club is working on it.
  9. Not before throwing a bit of punctuation into it though. šŸ˜…
  10. No. Itā€™s always like an afterthought at the end of the session. Itā€™s not structured either; itā€™s just a few at a time taking set shots from various angles/distances.
  11. Fritta has only recently become 100% injury/niggle free since preseason 2022, at which time began a long period of something troubling him to varying degrees at all times.
  12. Papalia and Loughnan both making jokes about Kozzy going to Freo. Theyā€™re commentators ffs.
  13. Soz to kill your one positive HT, theyā€™re two different posters. The Bnag still lives.
  14. The boys fly home tonight then have three days off. Thursday training at Casey.
  15. Whatā€™s this ā€œironingā€ of which you speak?
  16. #Brand Ghosty I like it!
  17. Iā€™m at a DA working bee right now and one of the guys was at the match yesterday. He confirmed that Ricky M was incredible in the second half, didnā€™t stand out in the first half. He said Hendo and Jai were good and he was pleased with their performance. This guy is a Casey aficionado and says in general Casey was very strong and impressive. Charles only played one half. Jeffo took several good marks and kicked at least two goals. No injuries šŸ„³
  18. Iā€™m sorry NC. Iā€™ll try harder, Iā€™ll make sure I earn the $$$ Iā€™m paid to report, which shouldnā€™t be hard since ITā€™S A WHOPPING GRAND TOTAL OF SWEET [censored] ALL.
  19. Petts was at training on Friday and nothing seemed amiss šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø
  20. Judgey much? Itā€™s a 24/7 forum And yes, it is a real zinger since itā€™s a nod to something funny in another thread. LOL says she who bursts into tears at every second reply, replies which she really shouldnā€™t read. šŸ¤£

And heā€™s just as happy to still be with us. Him meeting with Geelong wasnā€™t a sign that he wanted to leave. On the contrary, it was a sign of how hurt he was. And he was hurt because he loves our club and didnā€™t want to leave. I guess some people wonā€™t believe this unless they hear it straight from him and thatā€™s understandable. FWIW, this is straight from him. Before I get jumped onā€¦ Iā€™m not betraying a confidence. Claz has said he doesnā€™t give a sch!ttt about what people say about him so long as itā€™s the truth. And this is the truth.

    The damage caused was immeasurable

To say an adult is childlike isnā€™t insulting or in any way negative. Folks think it is because of the ā€˜childā€™ part of the word. I have an adult son who is similarly childlike and I think it would be detrimental to pretend he isnā€™t. Iā€™m sure you agree we donā€™t live in a cookie cutter world. Why then should the footy world be any different? On the subject of Brad mentioning Clarrie crying: Iā€™m 99% sure Clarrie wouldnā€™t give a fat ratā€™s about this being made public. Besides, if Brad was in any doubt Iā€™m sure he wouldā€™ve run it by Clarrie first.
  24. Fritta is in Mandurah totally unaware that right now Iā€™m going hammer and tongs with an extremely obnoxious, arrogant, loudmouth Collingwood supporterā€¦ his grandpa. This old manā€™s goinā€™ down and it wonā€™t be pretty. If Iā€™m not tomorrowā€™s news headline itā€™ll be a miracle. šŸ˜‚ I mean, his grandson kicked six goals in a granny and heā€™s hanging šŸ’© on the Dees like thereā€™s no tomoz.
  25. Iā€™ve been told not to repeat this from a buddy who is superstitious and doesnā€™t wanna moz him but for at least the second half (thatā€™s all he/she was there for) my boy Ricky Mentha starred. Very Kozzie-like But you didnā€™t hear that from me, K? The same spectator said Jai was serviceable. (I hate that word.)
