Training Ground?
Can't see how that would work. You would need to build seating/standing room and play games during the Spring Carnival.

Sullivan Robey
I suspect Essendon are after Duursma

Building to our next flag
Hogan was traded in 2018 wasn't he?

Dawn of a new Era - Paul Guerra article 18.10.2025
My point is the public line we gave to the media was a convenient narrative that allowed everyone involved to save a bit of face. A week later we said that we brought Jack Steele in to play Oliver's role. So not sure how anyone squares that circle.

Dawn of a new Era - Paul Guerra article 18.10.2025
Do people actually believe that we moved Oliver on because he didn't want to learn a new role?

Farewell Christian Petracca
Wouldn't be the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to the Suns.

Building to our next flag
Playing Oliver was definitely a Goodwin decision.

Bailey Humphrey
Relax. Clearly bumped into each other at the races.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Is that the one with JUH and Harmes? Not sure who the others are.

Dawn of a new Era - Paul Guerra article 18.10.2025
What is said publicly is not necessarily what is said privately.

Dawn of a new Era - Paul Guerra article 18.10.2025
Decent mix of insight and spin. Don't know that I fully believe Guerra when he says that the off-field issues weren't the reason we traded Oliver. The club is making a decent point of driving the narrative here. Guerra seems media savvy enough to drive that messaging.

Training Ground?
That would be the only reason to actually do it.

Grading the Trade Week
Would call it a B. Cashed in on Petracca, picked up a couple of cheap AFL ready players and made the best of a bad situation with Oliver, although it's impossible to look at that positively given we had the chance to move him on last year on much more favourable terms. The media sucking up to the Hawks is funny. They missed out on their man and did bugger all else. Genuine fail from them.

Farewell Judd McVee
Didn't he kick 5 on Judd last year?

Letter from the CEO Post Draft
Nothing like that.

Letter from the CEO Post Draft
It's really fine for him to communicate club strategy. Even if he is just reiterating stuff we know it's good to have every level of the club singing from the same hymn book.

Reckon people are sleeping on Greeves.

AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
I don't think Robey looks impressive enough to trade up the draft for.

Deathriding Gold Coast 2026 - Sponsored by OnTrac5
Their draw wasn't that soft this year. Double ups against Adelaide, Us, Giants, Richmond, Essendon, and Brisbane. So 3 finals sides and 3 bottom 6 sides. Also lost one to Richmond and beat Adelaide and Brisbane

Farewell Christian Petracca
I don't really care if he did or he didn't, really just bemused by the hypocrisy from some to give Oliver excuses and leeway while scrutinising everything Petracca does.

Farewell Christian Petracca
I mean JUH did a pretty nice one to the dogs.

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Yeah this. Sometimes it's just about filling your club with good citizens who set the right example. A young kid comes through and sees all the senior players are serious driven professionals, that's how you drive culture.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Rival bidders are a bit of a myth in AFL trades. Once a player has made up their mind where they want to go you just have to deal with that club. Collingwood was clearly interested in Oliver but Oliver had no interest in them. This is all even more true when you ask a player to explore their options. You just have to take what you can get.
