Love the idea of these guys playing together and being the future, some great talent and characters in there, Kolt in particular for character. Hope we can keep them all and they invest in the club, I think they are a great exciting future prospect and to be there for a bit with a few of the greats of our current team, albeit finding some form, would be very tasty.

Worst idea ever, the guy is so much trouble that his own club can't even deal with him he has to be left to the AFL to deal with. Not to mention he'd want heaps of cash, no way you want to bring a guy like that in and pay him more than your other loyal top players he'd be a total club culture killer.

Seriously we all know so much more than the coaches if they just jumped on here and took our advice we'd start winning.

I'd just like to see JEffo and AJ up there again, JVR and Jeffo to purely play forward roles AJ second ruck which is what we got him for. No one can argue that we looked better with that setup in the first game, whether it was coincidence or not. Not sure about Spargo or Hendo at this point, would love to see McVee in and Kolt but not sure they're ready straight away. Keep Milkshake he's great, mature, good kick inside 50 which we so desperately need. Please don't bring in Howes he's still not ready, bring in Jed Adams I'd be interested to see him if we need him. I'm hoping Laurie can actually play well, but he doesn't really do much at AFL level, imagine if we brought him in for Viney and he just dominated wouldn't that be something!

Me too, whatever happens I really get excited leading up to selection and game-day, I always tell my daughter in the morning "do you know what day it is??? GAME DAY BABY!!" Still excited to see the kids play and get better, haven't seen much of anything recently but it'll happen, I'm excited to see it when it does. I feel like I did at half time in that final home and away game against Geelong in 2021 when most people had written us off, my wife included as she went to bed...and although it looked completely hopeless I said to her "nope I'm gonna stay up just in case because you never know and imagine if they did come back I'd hate to miss it"...then they managed to do the un-doable. I always have faith they can pull a rabbit out of a hat because damn its good fun when it happens!

This year vs last year is very different given Tracs personal (likely partly family driven) issues towards the club and Oliver was still getting over everything in his personal life, things were getting mended and they probably still are. I would imagine Tracs family pushing him like one-eyed Colilngwood supporters to try and get traded and Trac was particularly vulnerable, but I'm thinking this year maybe he has realized he loves his club that he won a premiership with and wants to just put all that mess behind him, maybe tell him family to cool their jets, and just get on with trying to be awesome again for his club! That would be my take on it anyway, pure conjecture, but seems plausible enough. Oliver on the other hand just needs to keep working, and I reckon he and Trac's relationship is probably quite important too, I feel like those guys firing fit in cahoots helped the team a lot. They're got the skills, they do need to make adjustments though. I'm backing them in!

I have faith that they're both good enough to turn it around, and I love that Petracca backed away from all the investigations and just committed to the club and playing footy with less outside noise, I think that's very important and a great step from someone who is quite important to us. Would love to see him get the captaincy, and love to see Oliver just keep working because I think he will rediscover some form. The whole footy world knows what they're capable of, its in there somewhere, just need to find it again and I think they're genuinely trying and they care. That's the optimist in me anyway, I'm sure no one hates how things are going more than they do!

JVR should never ruck again, what a dumb thing to do to the poor kid, it has really stifled him. Petracca story sounds like a positive, can't read it though without a subscription but I get the jist...Kozzie who knows, would love him to stay though! Just get JVR out of the ruck, AJ to ruck he looked decent in the first game and get Jeffo in there too...funnily enough our first game looked a lot better than all the ones that followed...interesting that, we kind of had some actual forwards even though they were not veterans.

Hey at least it’s fun to watch again, wish Oliver kicked that goal though it would have been vintage 2021

Umpires getting involved, that was a mark for May if that was the Bombers it would have been paid. How about the Milkshake he’s great isn’t he!?!

I'm sure he's a lovely guy, but I can't understand why we persist playing Petty right now, I would much MUCH rather have Turner running around down back than Petty at the moment and I don't think there would be many who disagreed with that.

Turner very stiff to get dropped, he actually leads and competes pretty well I thought. He'd be wondering why I'm sure.

We need Caulfield, we obviously aren't very attractive compared to other clubs to the talent out there, we got to fix that!

Good on you Fritta, and seriously what better reminder that footy is just a game at the end of the day, this stuff is what life is really about...family! When all is said and done, the games have been won and lost, the most important thing is family. Well done guys congrats on your beautiful baby boy, hopefully you both get some sleep! He didn't deserve to be dropped anyway but wow he must have had a distraction or two recently with that coming up, absolutely huge life event right there :) Footy is great and all, but it really pales in comparison to having a kid.

Goodwin deserves to stay a bit but he needs to take the shackles off and let the talented players play the game they love, he will surely gets stacks more out of them if he does this. I know he probably won't though.

We do have a couple of kids we drafted as key forwards in Jeffo and JVR...I wonder at what point those guys just "click" and start becoming the key forward we're chasing...surely that's the idea behind drafting them? Is this why perhaps we haven't looked to bring in a senior ready made key forward? Is this idea going to work or have we now past it and realized it ain't working quick enough for what we need so we just need to go out and get our next Ben Brown?

Just not Woey Jnr and I like the idea of Laurie but he doesn't show enough...Woey really hasn't had anything to offer at top level he needs a long time in the reserves he should not be AFL level right now based on his recent performances. Jeffo to come back soon, reckon JVR needs time in reserves, for mine Fritsch stays in though he was good last game just needs to convert, and we all know he can. Would like Fullarton to come in and AJ to second ruck...not sure that sounds like too many talls though grrr who cares they'll do something and I hope we win just don't bring Woey in there are so many other kids ahead of him.

Looks like he took it well enough, all good fun, oh well something for the kid to work on...still a legend in the making!

My god we need a proper forward as a forwards coach, one with experience or insights into the modern game would be handy too. This should be number 1 on the whole club's list and we can get this happening right away...why they wouldn't do it is baffling. Admit this part of the game needs something different, make it happen!

You know what that's a great idea! He's obviously the most passionate guy we've got and is driven for nothing but success...make him captain dammit!
