Trav was okay but the stars need to work harder. Fritsch is a liability though, he messed up our own a number of times and did not do what he gets paid to do. I love the guy when he’s good but he’s stunk it up all season surely he has to get dropped to send a message. I don’t care if the cupboard is bare, it’s not that bare, he was shocking and he needs a stint in VFL to straighten up and fly right. He cost us a lot yesterday. Wasn’t the only one but he of all of them is better than that.

What are the actual chances of MFC upending the coach anytime during a season? I agree we need fresh ideas but would it ever happen? The players love him…maybe that’s the problem, too much love and not enough blood sweat and tears. Petracca at least spent his off season off training his guts out making himself as good as humanly possible…can we say the same for the rest of the team? Nathan Jones head coach? Get in the deep end son! sometimes I think players and coaches would actually benefit from reading these forums and the comments…not often, but a harsh reality check isn’t always a bad thing. Get out of your bubbles every now and then and read what everyone is saying. I know we all think the media are a pack of [censored] but they generally just say what’s going on.

Why on earth is Howes in??? God I was feeling better that he wasn't playing this week but oh well Surely Tmac in his place...not sure what to do with Howes though. Would rather see Turner or Sestan instead I think!

Grand final winners have been total [censored] at the start of a season before...I guess anything can happen. Probably want to fix up our forward 50 entries first though and get someone to teach our forwards how to be better forwards...I'm sure that would help.

Still have to adapt to the game as it evolves...are we doing that?

We have a few outs but wow that was just a shocker...I mean Collingwood had a shocker first up, then got better. Suns game will tell the story if this is just a blip but I think we all fear/know it won't be. Its not any one players fault, but seriously what is Woey doing out there am I the only one who thinks he looks pretty far away from AFL level? I felt like I missed Billings. We need to get Kolt, Windsor, McVee, Milkshake, May and Kozzie back in the team and get Langford running around and put Trac up forward if we can I mean [censored] that was one of the worst games I've ever seen from anyone ever we just couldn't get anything right, which is odd for it to look that bad for a whole game but it did. North have been getting great talents for a while now so its a matter of time until they click but I don't think that was them clicking so much as us being embarrassingly [censored]. For the record I like a 3:20pm Sunday game I reckon its a good time slot, especially now that 7 is showing more of them but I don't want to watch that rubbish. I'm sure we can do better than that!

I'm excited by Sparrow looking like he's playing very well again, if our premiership players can get back to their best it will go a long way, we have a few of them. Stiff for Langford to be sub then dropped, was hoping to see him play a full game but hopefully soon enough. Hope he rips it up at Casey!

Such a great player he will be very important if he's indeed back to his best...looking forward to seeing him in the team again fighting fit he will make a difference.

Love that Jeffo is finally in the team and looking good...he already looks the part but looking forward to him putting on a bit more size, exciting to think of him and JVR developing together in our forward line.

We must have a lot of supporters out there...so how do we galvanize more people to get to games?

Very glad they didn't take our offer for Reid, our players are a much classier bunch and not that full of themselves.

Tmac and Petty were so good in defence with Lever, we need May but damn they all played well, love having Tmac and Petty back there.

I agree with this, and I really loved Henderson btw he was pretty exciting and rated him more than Chandler. Would rather see Spargo and Kozzie in for both of them but Henderson was good I think he fits well in there. Would have preferred Turner kicking that late goal than AJ, but I do like AJ for ruck and the mongrel he brings he is decent. Both him and Max need to practice their kicking please.

Yeah what happened to JVR? Just went missing. Jeffo was good, reckon he will do well and looks exciting enough and puts in the effort. Turner would have been handy but the conditions sucked. Needed Fritsch to do better.

Need Spargo to come in for Chandler I reckon, Fritta also on thin ice even though I love the guy he hasn't been great.

Loss sucks but still very happy with the kids..especially XL and Jeffo very exciting signs
