  1. Don't touch Disco, he looks awesome and fast down back, we need him there. Makes the back line much better! AJ not sure, as said in other thread, but obviously brings something and the team seem to do well with him in it...he can't actually kick, or mark, but he does some other things that make all the difference in some moments so I kinda like what he brings. Wouldn't get him out unless someone like JVR is really knocking down the door but I like him as second ruck. Viney in for Spargo seems good, Sharp played well but I reckon sub is between him and Fritsch at this stage, loved what Fritsch was doing though so keep him in for sure. Hope Viney is fit and firing, love to see the old guard back in the middle in top form doing their thing. Then Lever...seems like he wasn't quite ready, and really I reckon Tmac is in way better form right now, both very important players so happy to rest Tmac because we will likely need him but his form is great. Happy for Lever to keep his spot and build if his ankle is actually ready for it. Time will tell.
  2. Love those photos the team seems very united and having fun and just enjoying their footy, all parts of it. Good vibes about this team and what we're building. So proud of the boys, still not sure about AJ he seemed like a liability in a lot of ways and skills aren't there like others but he does seem to bring something and if he frees up Max and the other big fellas from having to ruck duties then that's a good thing...hey he's been in the side two weeks now and we've had two very excellent wins, so something is working. Very enjoyable win, and loving seeing the big guns back to their best especially Clarry when he kicked that goal that had to be right up there with my favorite footy moment for a long time, both our teams reaction to him and the crowd, just love it so much joy and support for Clarry it really spoke volumes.
  3. Well isn't this just lovely and unexpected, we're playing well and we have much more than a pulse now which is a great feeling to have back. Whatever happens, we're playing damn good footy and still need to tighten a few things up but good footy is good and we have a really amazing group of experience and youngsters that are working well together and that is important. Loving the coaching, doing very well, and its great things have turned around a bit for now and vindicated the club which is really my favorite part. Love the group, lots to be excited about, then imagine adding Jackson to that list too wouldn't that be lovely .
  4. May and Tmac both excellent but older too, not the worst idea giving one of them a rest, although I'd be nervous not having them in the side. I think May and Lever must be keen to play with each other by now.
  5. Really do believe JVR is part of the future here, and he seems to be invested. I reckon his form will pick up, he's just a kid.
  6. Milkshake so important to our team, love that he's impacting so much and god he's a great "round the corner" kick for goal, best guy to take those kicks in my opinion! The only other one I remember that I was that confident seeing line up for one of those was Ben Brown.
  7. So proud and such a great well deserved result...great for the club, great for the players, great for the fans and great for Goody!! GO DEES!!! So proud and such an important win up there against reigning premiers. Hope we can ride this wave for a bit now, looks like good things are happening.
  8. Great to read that, and speaks volumes about the relationships and how much everyone seems to get on with our coach. Yesterday was awesome, and this to me says "guess what, our culture is actually pretty good" so hopefully it shuts up the haters like Kornes and he finds someone else to kick while they're down. Hell I'm all in on our coach, he obviously knows what he's doing and guess what, the people that spend the most time with him seem so really love the guy, so perhaps its time we got on board and just let him do his job and realize that there will always be ups and downs in sport because guess what...you can't win all the time...but damn its sweet when you do :)
  9. I hope he proves everyone wrong, I like a lot of what I see with him but he doesn't appear to be filling anyone with confidence. I hope that changes, would love to see him and JVR as our twin towers but I am an eternal optimist.
  10. So keen to see JVR and Jeffo (especially Jeffo) get another game together, very interested to see how they go. I've warmed to Harry Sharp too he just seems like he's got such a good attitude and he can run and has some skills so as if that isn't something that we need!!?! I like him as the sub, he seems to be a pretty good sub and has been pretty effective when he comes in.
  11. Huge bummer about both Viney and Melksham they are big outs. Glad that JVR and Jeffo get a go but those two outs were a big reason we’ve been winning. hope they take this chance and light it up, would love to see both of them have a great game and help a great win…we can hope :)
  12. I reckon in Jackson's eyes we are a "big club" to him...he won a flag here, that means more than all the other BS.
  13. Please ask him about the rooftop sign he did when he kicked that goal!!!
  14. Love this thread! Totally agree too
  15. Oh not Howes again!
  16. Shame about Oliver, hope he's okay, always barracking for him to come in and tear it up! I wonder if this maybe means Rivers to the midfield and Disco down back...kind of makes some space without actually wanting to make the space that way.
  17. That would flip the media on its head wouldn't it...somehow get Liam Ryan and keep Kozzie and have those two playing together they'd love it! Or they both end up over there...imagine how sweet if they both ended up here somehow though wowee!
  18. We are lucky to have Tmac, he's been great for us this year and last.
  19. Luke Jackson and Max sure did this job pretty well
  20. Just keen to see AJ or JVR in for Fullarton, need Turner in the backline too but not sure who makes way that's a tough one.
  21. Fritsch is a very important part of our team, has been for a while now and still is and will continue to be so. I like the comparison to the clinical soccer striker that fits. He will find accuracy again, already did last night a bit.
  22. Really was keen for Fullerton but can’t see him getting another game for a while after that, not while AJ was so dominant in VFL. We must have some sort of plan for when Max retires because it isn’t that far away. He is awesome!!
  23. Yeah we did very well and looked the goods, but they looked pretty terrible , so not really much to take from that game until we repeat that performance against more teams who are doing better than the Tigers I guess. Still, great stuff watching our boys rip it up!
  24. AJ great grab! Shame didn't convert.
  25. JVR needs to take those grabs before he gets back into seniors I reckon. Who is this Riley Bonner?? He was huge in last Casey game and already pretty involved today. I know nothing about him...is he new to the Casey list?
