  1. It's up to the moderators. So your view is irrelevant. But I hope they don't close it because I like to spend my time here reading your irrelevant views and pointing out their irrelevance from my relevant view-point which is that it's up to the moderators.
  2. And then later claim that you can't find the I.O.U. note.
  3. In his sixth consecutive game in 2015 he picked up 6 disposals with 85% T.O.G.
  4. Still down a fair way in TOG - and that's not counting his recent stints in the forward-line. He showed a bit at the start of last week as well but can't sustain it. I remain convinced he's carrying something or still recovering. And that he has been hampered far more than what's been let on.
  5. The problem with Hibberd is that he's really driven home how deficient we are in key areas of the game. That, and his moustache.
  6. He had a really bad cold.
  7. Not his first 'honest' conversation. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-06-07/pedersens-stunning-turnaround Called in for his end-of-year review with coaches and members of the recruiting team, Pedersen was told how disappointed the club had been with his output. "They said if I didn't pick up my game this year, even though I had a three-year deal, I wouldn't be here [in 2015]," Pedersen told AFL.com.au. "They felt they'd been dudded. "They told me they weren't fussed if I was here or not and said my destiny was in my own hands." Is this great people management? He did demonstrate a significant improvement on his first year with us.
  8. He has the versatility to play fat or thin depending on our needs.
  9. AF - most of this is on the money but it's far too optimistic. You should take your good cheer back to the marital boudoir while it's still fresh and skip the less stimulating moaning on D'land for a week or so. Congrats btw.
  10. Bernie a shoo-in then. (Please note: Vince doing the former was a welcome tonic in the second half v the Dons - please let him remain forward-of-the-ball from here to retirement).
  11. As the title suggests. In what order do you rate each of our performances in 2017? Demonland can be pretty bi-polar at the best of times, and many will argue that the only columns that count are the win-loss ones, but I feel we've played pretty poorly in a couple of our wins and exceptionally well in some losses. The consistent theme for me for now and from 2016 is that we can get ourselves up for the most part against a decent challenger (but generally can't quite get across the line), and that we struggle against or can't put away crappy opponents who can maintain some sense of a sniff. My take: Geelong St. Kilda Richmond Carlton Fremantle Essendon
  12. Yup - and the pressure was down vs Essendon. Wouldn't be surprised to see ANB come out for Stretch next week - not due to fundamental output but it being his turn for a rest. Could very well see Harmes come back in for the same reason. People forget that they are still pups: ANB (21 games), Stretch (25), Harmes (31). Young Jayden Hunt (25) looked a tad tired off the short break as well. Oliver is just a freak (but he did seem generally a bit flat as compared to earlier in the season). It's still early days in the era of reduced interchanges, and we've been carrying the reduced minutes of a couple of our seniors (Tyson and Viney) with a team half-full with players in their second to third years.
  13. And no mention of Omac either. He was oddly inconspicuous in such an all-round shank-fest.
  14. 10 contested possessions and 8 marks is a fairly solid fact.
  15. The force is strong in Mark Neeld.
  16. You just made my day Saty. Please keep being you.
  17. I wonder which bag of our crisps GWS may have been after . . . the pick 53 in return? Jeremy Howe? Toby demonstrated his forward capabilities by tearing us apart in a scratch early on - so I imagine there must have been a fairly solid reason not to take him for free.
  18. There's a strange equal-opportunities affirmative-action sentiment developing here regarding Clarry's handball-to-kick ratio. Like any player, I would like Oliver to be a good decision-maker, such that he should kick when it's the best option and handball when it's the best option. Otherwise, he is extremely damaging and aggressive by hand, and I couldn't care less if he only gets five kicks a game no matter how good he is by foot. I also couldn't care less that by improving his kicking numbers he could better his chances for a Brownlow.
  19. You can add Bugg's stats from the week before that in giving up his spot for JKH, then divide by WTF? But I've had my say. Wishing him all the best on the w/e.
  20. Did he send you an sms?
  21. The Bombers will think they've entered some strange alternative dimension when they see Milkshake in the red and blue lining up for ruck duties at the centre-bounce. Speaking of which, I take it we'll be suiting up in that horrible Bali strip for this one?
  22. He would be better off throwing it and too fast to catch. It's the unorthodox contortionist efforts that come across as suspect and get pinged.
  23. You seemed to have forgotten the t.
  24. The youngest, least experienced, and . . . shortest team in the league?
  25. Cheers Moonshadow. My very first thought when Max went down was, oh god, Spencer is a guaranteed certainty to follow. It hadn't even crossed my mind until now that we'll be replacing our back-up with yet another injury-prone big man.
