It is just diabolical to think that a single digit wins team can be playing finals. 10 is at least tolerable.

Play each time twice and the team with the most points at the end of the season is the champion.

Some seasons will be fair enough. Not much separation between 7 and 10. But what about just last season? Diabolical that a 8 win team can have a chance to beat a 14 win team.

It's all about money. It's everywhere. UCL now 8 league games as compared to 6 group stage. And additional knockout stage. NFL highly probable to have one more regular season game. Expanded wild card round. NBA the same with play-in. It's all about those TV rights deals.

I forgot Disco.

Backline might be OK we still have Petty, Lever, TMac. Midfield the biggest question but at least we got rid of two liabilities in terms of where we wanted to take the team moving forward. Forward line. Kozzy? Fritsch back to his best? JVR improving with Miochek giving him some help? I think we can still be OK. Finish 10-12, that's my expectation.

We are the silver spoon club, I guess it's because of that.

Lot's of people treat us with contempt. They clearly have no idea of what we've got in our list talent wise.

So he couldn't flourish in a new and refreshed list in our team? It still doesn't make much sense to me, unless it was all about money then.

I think it also has to do with the fact that we thought he'd be part of this rebuild. Very handy players to have in our list. Like Dogga, player the old "want to go home card" but funny enough only to Freo. I am more angry with Freo still circling around our club like vultures trying to steal our players (remember the Kozzy rumours earlier this season). What's next Rivers or JVR? Go away purple pest! PS. As things stand today I'd rather deal with WC than Freo, but strangely these players don't even think of going to WC.🤔🤔🤔

Yes, but the most important support should be their families. You can throw money and resources to Psychologists, Doctors etc. but the most important part of all is your immediate circle.

Rumour is Goodwin was more of a mate than a father figure. Probably hard to command respect on field if you are not perceived as a leader.

Will he play in the backline now? Since we got a Max backup and probably don't need to rush Kalani at the ruck position.

Maybe just the tradition to honour a player with specific numbers. Like the mythical number 10 in soccer. Positional numbers.

You'd hope we secure Langford, Lindsay et al early next year. Don't want any more sagas with our young core.
