That's terrible, it doesn't get better upstairs either. I am on level 2A (Redlegs) and a lot of the people in the corporate suites behind us are also troublemakers. Against Freo it almost became ugly with a couple of our members. Those [censored] get brave when drunk and if their team is winning, otherwise they are nowhere to be heard of or seen.

You guys think it's a group of 'neutrals' that just come to our games to hate on the Dees? Is there something the club can do to ensure that the area around the cheer squad is 100% occupied by only members?

I have noticed this too. Even against Freo there was a pocket of their supporters right next to the cheer squad. And if I recall there was also a good number of Essendon ferals right behind the cheer squad. Surely the club doesn't want us loyal supporters to feel like the away team? However the turn out of our members has been dismal to say the least. I am sure if we had 40k passionate supporters there on every home game all the above wouldn't matter.

I don't Think it's just the last two to be completely honest. Most of the year we have played just above average, not good enough when we know what this team is capable of. I for one am concerned, the team either swallows a humble pie and works their [censored] off for the rest of the season or we may drop from top 4 and with few chances to repeat.

It feels like the players can't/won't be accountable and prefer to defer the responsibility to the next bloke. One hand ball or kick too many

Agree on attending the games, but the noise is proportional to the display on the field. The team needs to turn it up otherwise we can have full house and still be as quiet as a cemetery

Mate they are no where near their best form last year. Last year even when playing bad we had more fight and grit. We have made 2 solid but not premier teams look like gods. The team is making opposition feel at home in our hollow ground!! Last week's the Freo chants and now this, the team is killing the supporters momentum

Was he the one who wasted a chance early in the 4th? I remember a player kicked with clear path to goal and instead tried to give Trac the mark, of course in the end we got neither.🤮

Yeah I know, it almost felt like the St Kilda game during that first half. Goodwin's speech must have been a shocker during the HT break to bring our mids down to VFL level.

Mate we still need to fix our entry to FWD 50 that's the main worry at the moment. It is disgraceful to be honest, can't remember more than a couple marks inside 50. Of course our defence won't be exposed like that again, but if we can't pile up the goals we keep the opposition alive. In the 2nd we missed at least a couple more goals, should've had a 40+ margin going to the HT. Who knows maybe that would've been enough to dampen Freos spirit.
