The Trac-Oliver conondrum, at least to me, is that I wish they were one player combined. Trac has the power and class, while Oliver has the consistency and toughness/mongrel. They need to find the right balance to be a damaging duo. If by some magic we could mix both in one player, that player would be considered one of the GOATs.

We really want/need to go at least 2-1 in the next three. Freo is a must win and I wish for us to finally get to Collingwood, unlikely as it looks atm.

I guess it's just that it would be a shame to waste this premiership window. We already wasted 2022, and this year is not looking particularly positive. The competition is getting tougher and we may want to take our chances ,while we still have them, with the current list.

Yep this team is regressing to 2018 - 2020 rollercoaster performances. Rd 11 last season until now they clearly haven't fixed it. The benchmark they set themselves in 2021 will always look harsh on them if they can't find a way to be consistent again.

The real litmus test will be sustained membership numbers. There will be a drop in form and results at some stage in the future. Ideally the numbers should remain healthy even during tough seasons.

What's the YOY growth? I am certain our numbers were lower around the same time last year.

Re Concussions; can't the AFL and AFLPA start some trust fund that can be used in the future to help retired players that have brain issues due to concussions? The risk will always be there, even if they were to wear helmets. However the risk these days is way lower than in the past, and it's better managed when those incidents occur.
