So we find ourselves mid-way through the season (how time flies!). To me this season has been particularly hard to identify the real contenders from the pretenders. What does DL think? Are Collingwood, PA and Brisbane the only solid candidates so far? Are we closer to the contenders or the pretenders based on current form? Looking forward to KB game, I can't help but feel we are a chance.

Probably without Lynch Freo may be favourites then. But of course I do hope they can beat them dockers.

The [censored] broadcasters are part of the whole system with the AFL. They try and avoid putting the replays for all those dodgy decisions by the umpires.

Chandler needs a break. But I am very worried about Kozzies lack of impact with pressure in our fwd 50. I'd expect him to generate HTB calls when he is 2 metres away from a under duress Carlton defender.

Yep, can't remember how many times Spargo or Chandler have to contest the ball with guys 15 - 20 cm taller than them. Very stupid set up IMO.

At the very least it seems like we can have confidence in our future on the D50. McVee, Bowey, Petty very good line-up to take over May, Lever when they retire. And Disco Turner growing season after season. Hopefully now we can focus on KPF and some more polish and class with the foot in our midfield.

The quiet and nervous crowd tells you all you need to know about these 2 teams... Very poor footy.
