  1. You've got Richmond, Geelong, GC and even Sydney to finish above them. Hoping they fall to 12th at least.
  2. That may be true but, does he want to be there? As things stand, the power is on the players side. We experienced it last year with the number 6 who shall not be named. Is it better for WC to try and get as many draft assets now? otherwise they may be held hostage in 2-3 years time by a player that doesn't want to be there anymore and be unfairly compensated like we were last year.
  3. Yes, hard to predict what will happen next week. Even Carlton could resurrect given how the season is going so far. Suddenly the Swans are a couple of wins away to be serious finals contender.
  4. If the team is serious about competing year on year, they should always keep all options open when it comes to improving the list. That's what Goodwin has been preaching, compete every year build a team to do so.
  5. We'll take Kelly's contract but the Weagles pay 30% of that salary. Another Grundy style move 😂
  6. There must be a market for him, if only limited. Bottom 6 teams could use an experienced player to help develop their young midfield groups. Let's explore what the team can get for him.
  7. Do we also have an important role for Brayshaw in the near future? Our midfield is crowded and we'd rather bring someone with better foot/kicking skills to that midfield group.
  8. Everything will be fine next week if Swans beat the Cats and Freo losses against Bulldogs. Both are huge possibilities. I think Draper wasn't playing last night for Essendon. Tim English will be a hard proposition for the Freo duo.
  9. Why, for the most part, has this team behaved like Jeckle/Hyde under Goodwin? Surely we can't always blame the loading. Sometimes it's also about the psychological/mental fortitude of the team, specially its leaders on the field, to steady the ship during those critical stages of any given game. That last quarter capitulation was awful to watch.
  10. Good old learnings as our coach loves to say. 🥲
  11. What did Fritsch do? I didn't think there was a careless or dangerous tackle
  12. Langdon one of them, what a difference with Hunter.
  13. Viney is putting a lot of guys to shame these last few weeks.
  14. [censored] disgraceful and pathetic
  15. Yep, Petracca has shown he is the side kick of Oliver. You'd think he would step up with Oliver out. He hasn't
  16. Trac kicking is abysmal
  17. Pathetic team just fold this season
  18. And then Brayshaw does [censored] all with that ball 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
  19. Langdon has been similar.
  20. Brayshaw, yet another dumb turnover that went into Geelong's 50. How many goals have we received from Brayshaws turnovers this season?
  21. What's happened to Kozzys dare and speed? Been very irrelevant for weeks now.
  22. Gus turnover machine
  23. Just landed after delays/cancellations in the US west coast. I am cooked but will take a long nap and be ready to support the boys tonight! Go Dees!!! 🔴🔵
  24. I think it says more about the young guns who are/can be very inconsistent (see Curnow and McKay, even the King brothers).
