  1. I expect the players to be made to run out in red and blue clown suits in Sunday.
  2. That assessment cannot be dismissed.
  3. I'm not going to pretend I know enough about that to mount a credible strategy, the more I know about it the less I realise I know - but it's not my job to. Have another look at this and see whether you think Neeld knows what just happened - it IS his job to. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2013-04-02/rd-1-mark-neeld-and-jack-grimes-media-conference
  4. Hyperopia: causing difficulty focussing on near objects, likely to trip over something obvious right in front of them
  5. We lost by 13 goals at home in Ken Hinkley's first coaching outing with Port Adelaide who were a total basket case under Matthew Primus last year and Neeld has no idea why. That's all I need to know, some knew well before that and some are yet to cotton on.
  6. Watts should be played as tall back - not on dwarfs. He needs to compete in the air (he has the physical attributes - height, pace, leap to do so) and then exploit on the ground. He should have been played on Darling last week - yeah he would've been soundly beaten but it would be a proper learning path for him. Chip on Kennedy and Tommy on the ruckman, Garland on a dwarf, Sellar forward as marking target until Dawes gets fit. Neeld is totally mis-managing Watts - what's new?
  7. Is it worse than the current plan? 1. Persist with Neeld 2. Disaster
  8. If we go caretaker we can openly start to chase a new coach. We can stitch one up ASAP - existing assistant coach or premiership coach in the media - the only attractive candidate truly unavailable is Clarkson. A lot of key list management decisions including free agancy targets in and out start getting made very soon. There's a lot more wasted time whne the new coach comes on in September than there there is with a long care-taker experience. If we're done with Neeld then a quick kill is best.
  9. The page where we interacted you described me as "cannon fodder" and an "idiot" when I simply pointed out that there may be substance to people's concerns about McLardy, Schwab and Neeld. I suggest a period of reflection for you.
  10. Gee Robbie - you're the one who continually keeps bring Fan up. If you read my posts you'd see that I am supportive of the club and generally conservative when it comes to change. But I'm prepared to listen to a reasonable argument and have not dismissed concerns about McLardy, Schwab and Neeld. Fan's "agenda" is for a better MFC. I simply posted that it seems like his concerns have merit. I'm now certainly completely off the Neeld wagon and McLardy and Schwab (and Lyon) who put him there. I support MFC, you are the one who sees "teams" and it seems you are unable to concede that your imagined adversaries have a point, now most recently you're threatening to withdraw financial support for the club - that sounds like you mainly support Robbie F.
  11. I think Baghdad Bob's concerns about McLardy, Schwab and Neeld have received some added credence over the past few weeks.
  12. Yeah because using 10 words is better than using one?
  13. "pea-hearts" jumping off and cancelling their memberships is one thing but "pea-brains" who can't see that there is a fundamental problem with the way we're being coached is another. 24.22 to 2.5 in 2 second halves - that's a disgrace, it shames the entire club and destroys its fabric. Old-fashioned strict man-on-man contested footy does not allow this destruction to happen. Sure it couldn't have won us either game but it would've stopped the bleeding.
  14. Yes I do recognise we were in deep trouble before Neeld got here, but he hasn't helped - he has hurt. And I don't think that Neeld is the root problem, but he's the immediate one. There's no one root problem but if you want a simple personification of it then look no further than G.Lyon. I don't expect to see remedy in one year but I don't expect to see destruction either. As I posted elsewhere, we're 2.5 to 24.22 in second halves this year, that's not progress in any way shape or form. I cut Neeld slack last year but wiser heads than me realised early that he needed to bring the playing list along with him to his vision, not bludgeon them with it. He may know where he wants to go, but he has no idea how to get there.
  15. Anyone who has had the misfortune to read me over 10+ years posting here and demonology knows I'm one of the most conservative supporters going - I've supported admin and footy department thru thin and thinner. But ya gotta read the tea-leaves. We're 2.5 to 24.22 in second halves to teams that finished well outside the finals last year. Second halves where remedial action should be taken to stem the arterial haemorrhaging. The coach has no idea why. We're in crisis all right - any other view is delusional.
  16. Neeld is not helping the club he's destroying it, he has lost the players and has no idea what is going on, he needs to go ASAP. I'm sure he's done his best and it has turned to dust in his hands - but his best is simply not anywhere near good enough - percentage 28%! The people who put him there need to go at the same time to demonstrate that he's not being scape-goated. The lunatics are running the asylum. From there - yes we need to partner very closely with the AFL to find the way forward.
  17. Yes Out: McLardy, Schwab, Neeld In: Jalland, Matt Green, Craig It's only a matter of time before this or similar happens, they should man-up and take responsibility now.
  18. [censored] sandwich or Cup of cold vomit ... hmmmm ... what an appertising choice
