I think 2016 R 11 and 20 vs the Hawks were pretty good Ads for what we have to offer. Jordan saw the potential first hand. -
47 for Dunn and 57 would be our best outcome I think But agree more likely 65 or even 83. Brisbane have nothing between 22 and 78 to offer for Frost. We might end up with that 78.

Our desire to use 2017 2nd means we have someone in mind around 29 this year and/or we don't want to waste an entire year of prospect analysis by JT and the recruiting team by having first pick at 57. If we have to do 29 for Hibberd it should be possible to trade next years 2nd to one of the clubs who end up with multiple 2nds this year. -

5 time premiership player Jordan Lewis ... -
I can't see a Tippett trade happening. He has 2 more years at Sydney on ~$800k/year and he's 30 early next season. A team would have to offer him 4 years at similar money to convince him to move. That would be crazy.

Players love winning. If the new look Hawks start winning again next season all will be fine, if not - look out. -

That deal hasn't happened yet and they got T.Mitchell cheaply for 14. You can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs. Let's see what their entire trade period looks like before making an assessment. Quite frankly the real outcome won't be known at least until well into 2017. If O'Meara can play to capacity it's a big win - he was a star, if his injuries seriously restrict him it's a bust. -
Not sure about the Riddler but I think next year's draft board has to be called "The Knifeduck Buoy Draft and Trading Board"

Look I don't think Trenners is rapt about this trade. -

A Collingwood fan said he heard Hunt was in the deal - ridiculous I know. But Hawks fans did not start it. -

Hawk fans on BF have Frost in the deal. I could see that with Hibberd coming in and J.Smith improving fast. -

O'Meara would go in the ND. Hawks are reported to be working on a deal with Brisbane for pick 3. O'Meara 100% at Hawthorn. -

I think we win against North and WC this year with him in our side. -

I think you'll find his "pointing" is his main attraction to us. We badly need on field structural guidance. -
Quoted for posterity. Not your finest moment.

That was before the finals. They lost in straight sets and finished 5th and had pick 14 to prove it. Next you'll be telling me the Dogs finished 7th? -

They finished 5th and the curve was down - from R20 they went 2-4 with a 1pt miracle over Collingwood. The tide has gone out at Hawthorn - Clarkson, Mitchell, Lewis and I know it. You' just haven't got there yet. -

Hawks without S.Mitchell and probably Lewis. No Roughead back. Hodge, Burgoyne and Gibson another year older. They miss the eight for me. -

Yes that's got to be his offering, on-field coach to direct position and structure, and it seems to be something we sorely lack. For all Nathan's and Bernie's good attributes I don't think that's there. At Hawthorn this seems to have been Hodge and Mitchell domain but maybe Lewis too - or he learned something in the process. I'm definitely up for that if the cost is manageable.
