H. Lumumba did it for us in his 1st game (it was one of his best plays at Collingwood) but he was told to stop because it was "wrong". Now it's done with no one to say stop. I don't like it.

He's a taller version of Jack Grimes. And no, that's not a complement.

That Cats loss is seriously one that got away. Should be 2nd on the ladder right now with the Cats nearly bottom with their dream team midfield sooking.

There was a time, many years ago, before Hogan, Petracca, Oliver, and the like were on the scene, when I thought Kent was our most likely young player to come on. He hasn't, but today is a taste of what he could have done had he worked harder as a young fella and had he gotten a bit luckier. He still might turn into something yet. Truly the forgotten man, but no longer.

Seems like a pretty easy thing to stop. Play McDonald and Frost deep and Lever can do what we want him to do. That's kind of the whole point of defenders. They get to decide where to be. Forwards have literally no say in it.

Don't change a winning team for no reason. IN: Frost (team balance…Brown is a lanky beast and we need someone to go with him) OUT: Wagner (two poor games in a row, plus he's a defender) Our depth is actually quite bad. We can barely field an AFL-level best 22 with Viney and McDonald out.

If Goodwin doesn't bring in Frost to man Ben Brown and let Lever play his normal game I give up. Lever is atrocious 1-on-1 but I've been led to believe he's handy if he can be a 3rd defender. So let him do it.

Garlett and Oliver are dragging our butts out of the fire slightly faster than Lever and the rest of the team are dragging us into it.

I never thought Lever was much chop at Adelaide. I always put it down to me not watching enough of them, but I've seen a little more of him now at Melbourne and he's ordinary.

Goodwin looks worried and utterly bereft of answers. Jack Viney can't save him now. He's the only man at Melbourne with any leaderships skills whatsoever and his foot doesn't work so…not much he can do.

Brown: "Tough conditions up here. Melbourne wouldn't be used to the humidity." We bloody would be if we'd gone to Darwin this year.
