I think Harmes can only play the Sparrow role. ANB plays a role that releases Petracca and requires him to run up and down the ground. It’s not a plug and play. I can see Brown for Weid and no other change or Harmes for Sparrow… Good problems to have.

Yeah, a friend of mine worked at AFL House for 6 years and she said it is a toxic boys club. And when she had the gall to procreate they ostracised her and she came back to indifference and zero work as punishment.

They have beaten us the last two times. One of only 7 clubs to beat us the last two seasons. And the only club besides the Bulldogs to beat us in both years. Of course they are going to prefer to play us.

They play the only way to beat us at our best but the flip side is that if you can’t execute well enough, often enough we will get so many entries into our forward line. I wouldn’t disagree and I know Sam quite well. What disappoints me is that I know there are people that would read all that and be like ‘so what, mate. Suck it up, it’s not like they hit you.’ They were disrespectful to his culture, betrayed his confidences in front of his colleagues, berated him, and his club thanked him for leading and standing up for his brethren by demoting him and pushing him out the club. What a culture. And not to say how great are we but we were close to going down this path and instead went down the path of embracing uniqueness, respect, and having trust in your teammates to let them be if they do the work. I’ll take our PC woke culture any day of the week and twice on the last Saturday in September…
