  1. He has elite skills and decision making. It is so stark atm with our backline minus Lever, Petty, and Salem.
  2. Well they did just agree on a new EBA - do you think there’s something in it??
  3. Stand him down until he signs? Strong but fair.
  4. Yeah, leave him alone. Track wouldn’t have thrown him under the bus like that unless the club was confident.
  5. I’m sure the Hawks bubble will burst at some point but god I hate seeing them win. Syd, BL, Mel with Carl rounding out the top 4. Maybe GWS… Good to see a couple new teams.
  6. May, Bowey, Tomlinson and Smith were good in a defence that saw a lot of footy. Gawn looked so cooked. Track and Oliver win that game for us. Brown, McDonald and Gawn forward saw too many packs with all three going up. Now let’s get back to Melbourne away from that weather…
  7. So one of the ‘bros’ from the Deebrief podcast is saying that he is hearing whispers that Lever’s injury is much worse than reported. Take of that blah blah blah.
  8. You are responding to a 10 day old post.
  9. It’s looking like that. I will be keen to see PA and BL play other teams to see if they are up there. Maybe GWS if they put Rich to the torch.
  10. Winning two games isn’t flag contention. I am getting convinced the Dogs are back in the pack but BL, Dees, Port, and Syd is where I am at.
  11. You guys better get there!
  12. https://www.womens.afl/news/91331 Prelim at the G for the Demons!
  13. Probably why they are flogging the 3 gamers
  14. If Rioli kept his feet he may have been able to make a last minute decision to turn out of the way as he was second to the ball. He left the ground, and he turned his hip into a weapon. We are trying to stop that behaviour.
  15. AFL Tribunal saying that holding ground and bracing is much worse than running full pace jumping and meeting a player with eyes for the footy in the head with their hip. AFL needs to appeal and then the need another review of the set up if this is what we are getting.
  16. Luke really should be going to a dentist or orthodontist for that.
  17. I didn’t say he is pathetic, i intimated his act was pathetic, and it was. Luke is a good person and loyal to a fault. But I think we saw those fault lines and it was a detriment to him and the game.
  18. I think Bjork would agree that we can only judge people on what they reveal - we don’t know what excuses (or reasons) Luke had to talk to a journalist like that. What we do know is that he belittled a person, called a conflict, brought into question the integrity of someone, and eschewed the leaking of his own colleagues to harangue someone else. And this is after another poor performance from his team which the press conference should have focussed on. He has done this before to Cornes and Barrett and we allow it because those two can be onerous and odious but let’s not allow someone to do what he did last Wednesday night without consequences; especially when it is just the label of ‘pathetic.’
  19. It wasn’t public but our review identified that Goodwin didn’t have enough support and even the man himself says he wasn’t coping well and needed more help. Cue Williams, Yze and a flag. CW right to criticise Beveridge for that outburst - it was OTT and quite pathetic really.
  20. May is a star but so are Salem and Lever. You can’t replace your best players. I expect to beat GC and Essendon (on exposed, very exposed form) but the best will exploit us. Salem and Lever make up a quarter of our galaxy of stars - important and irreplaceable. May, Gawn, Fritsch, Petracca, Oliver, and Langdon are the other 6 IMO.
