  1. Apologies, I got him mixed up with Johanniesen
  2. You don't rate Jack Macrae, who was a Norm Smith medalist? Or Caleb Daniel? It's interesting to hear Daniel talk about the soured relationship with Bulldogs post his trade to North. Not to mention the commentary about some players' remarks in speeches at their best and fairest. It's not a happy camp there.
  3. Really? What do you base that on? And don't say from the media. As Clarry at the Best and Fairest himself said, "don't trust the media".
  4. The docos the club produced of Kozzie going home, last year to South Australia with Trac, this year to Western Australia with Clarry and McAdam, showed it, I think. He has so much love and respect for his players, which was so evident to see, and it's reciprocated. They're special moments, and they're relationship building. You can't fake that, and they take effort and patience to build that kind of relationship. You either have it or you don't - he does. In abundance.
  5. I think a bit factor that is being left out is Goody's rapport with the players, which I think is there. If you compare that with say the like of Luke Beveridge, there are whimpers that that's a big factor as to why players are leaving the Bulldogs, is that the abrasiveness of Beveridge is wearing a bit thin. I don't see that the rapport with the players is a problem at Melbourne, They seem to respect and value him. That's a massive plus. We're not having a massive exodus of players, in fact we're having players extend their contracts mid way, including the likes of the kids in Windsor and Tholstrup, which I think is telling.
  6. I challenge anyone to play with a broken hand for the majority of a season and maintain top form.
  7. The Ghost has responded with “let’s do it!”
  8. Unfortunately not, I work full time and I just can’t get to training, sadly. I should be able to do January training, though, since I’ll be in school hols.
  9. Thank you, Timothy. I actuallly got a signed guernsey in the mail yesterday, as well as the most beautifully written card. I love this team, and these girls.
  10. She was teary after the first concussion in the Adelaide game. Poor thing, she's my sponsored player, I chose her coz she gives the best hugs. I wish I was there to give her a big hug....
  11. Colvin has only just recovered from a concussion, I hope she's okay
  12. If he's Polynesian, how does that not qualify for multicultural? If the Suns could bid on a bunch of clearly Australian born caucasian NGA players, why the hell can't we bid on a Polynesian player? It makes no sense....
  13. He said it to camera on Channel 7.
  14. I have nothing to hide, you all know what my first name is, anyway. If anyone is interested, my surname is Oxley. There you go. I'm transparent.
  15. Despite the fact they both work quite closely with both AFL and AFLW teams.
  16. I’m in the cheer squad, but I do other things on a voluntary basis as well. I’ve served in committees, I was involved for example with the working parties on the constitutional reforms a couple of years back, and through that got to know David Rennick. Any member can get involved in doing these things, it’s a matter of getting involved. But yes, it has afforded me the opportunity to work with and get to know people in the club. Not sure what is so hard about that to fathom.
  17. I also never said I was a “meer Cheersquad member”. That’s Dazzkedavey36’s line.
  18. I said that because I knew I wouldn't be believed. Thank you for proving my point.
  19. Their names are Caitlin Nobes (Media Dept) and Tamara Jade Quarmby (player sponsors). Go ahead and ask their opinion. I'm sure they wouldn't mind. Given you seem skeptical.
  20. According to AFL, around 150 players from all 18 clubs have been "excused" by systems to protect them. Yet Melbourne is the issue.
  21. What evidence?
  22. So you're going to write off the culture of the entire club because one player was stupid enough to take drugs. Were these questions asked about Collingwood when 17 players were investigated in 2017? Was Western Bulldogs questioned about their culture around Bailey Smith? Collingwood last year with Ginnivan, who then when on to threaten to revenge porn the player who dobbed him in? Or when some of their players made misogynistic Tiktoks? Were Brisbane questioned about their culture when half their team sent explicit texts to each others' partners when they were in Vegas? Were Port questioned about their culture when one of their players, high as a kite, thought he could fly and jumped to his dealth from a high rise balcony? Are Essendon being questioned about their culture when Stringer was caught with gangland figures? Or GWS now while half their side is being suspended for inappropriate behaviour on end of season trip?Everything else you've cited there is based on rumour. Do you want to know why we didn't hear from Roffey for months? She was in hospital with COVID. She told me that herself. So, dear Mr Gonzo, tell me, why is Melbourne the only one being singled out?
  23. He's done it for the last 4 year. He does it because there he has access to a much level of high performance personnel and facilties. He does it because he's sponsored by Red Bull. If it means he has a superior fitness than his opponents, who would anyone have an issue with it?
  24. Who is saying there's poor culture? The players? Not a single player has complained publicly about culture, and in fact several have said how much they love the culture. The staff? The ones I've spoken to are perplexed, Caitlin and Tam, who I deal with on a regular basis, have told me it's the best culture workplace they've worked in. The media? Ah! The ones summising!
  25. They could try and make the offer, then watch while Melbourne say "no thanks".
