POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Brisbane
Just watching the replay now for the first time and I think Gerard Healey is losing it. To quote⦠6.47 left in the third after Brisbane kicked a goal āthere is a significant gulf between these two sidesā 6.01 āgreat defensive stuff from Melbourne they are so close (to Brisbane) itās not funnyā Mustāve been a big 46 seconds of the game š

GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Since he hurt his knee in 22 he canāt kick more then 30 metres. And even the ones he does kick sit up in the air for an eternity.

Unlike most other punters on here Iām bitterly disappointed Robbo might hang up the mic. I found it strangely comforting to turn onto the only journo who had sunk more booze than me that night.- 2024 AFL Grand Final
His lowest amount of touches since round 24 last year versus us. 14 disposals and 5 turnovers.- Jack Macrae

Iām not normally a conspiracy theory kind of guy but Iām pretty confident Trac, @Demonland and @binman orchestrated this whole charade for extra clicks. Can you imagine the increase in google ad revenue from Demonland? Always follow the money.- What if we had a firesale?
I understand it is a business and professional sport so itās ruthless. However when Iām firing/moving people on, which we all acknowledge must happen at times, you have to be careful. The ones that stay and the ones you want to keep are all watching very carefully how you treat people.- Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
Yeah crazy that the members expect competent, informed and prepared leadership.- Kozzy Homesick & Wants to Leave?
Heās been in AFL management for 17 years. Somehow the playing groups opinion of his performance for the majority of that career (~10 years) isnāt relevant. Make that make sense.- Kozzy Homesick & Wants to Leave?
Sure thing champ. Playing group who played under CEO for almost a decade has an opinion on his leadership. Somehow thatās relevant because ofā¦reasons?- Pick 25 for McAdam
Way overs. Robottom, Seb Ross, McStay, Josh Dunkley were all pick 25. we should just draftā¦- Kozzy Homesick & Wants to Leave?
So a premiership player and Brownlow medallist who has close connections to that playing group, canāt have an opinion on the CEO he played under for 9 years, his whole career basically. Tell me how thatās irrelevant?- Kozzy Homesick & Wants to Leave?
I listened to Dane Swans podcast (and lost 20 IQ points) and also learned that Swan and the players didnāt like Pert at all. They were joking about how people who donāt like him donāt call him āPertyā and Swan said the playing group had plenty of other names for him. He is quite fond of Eddie. And said even though he was a nuffie he was passionate and professional. Iām sure plenty will denigrate Swan as no brain surgeon, but he definitely does not GAF and is very honest.- How Many Weeks For Kozzy?
3 weeks for Moore collapsing at the knees. Unbelievable.- Laurie Extends for 2 More Years
Gulden was a swans academy player. He wasnāt going anywhere else.- Club in crisis - Media pile on - August 2024
Case in point: Stengle collapses in a nightclub at 2am and is in a serious condition in hospital. Media virtually silent. Club says ādrink may have been spikedā. Please⦠give us some credit. Dangerfield goes off script and says Stengle made an āerror of judgementā. Oops, I thought his drink was spiked? How is it an error of judgment if heās the victim of a crime? Media: *crickets* Imagine if that was Clarry.- Farewell Alex Neal-Bullen
Can someone explain to me how he can say he is going before a deal has been done that satisfies the club, given he is under contract? Surely we can hold him to the contract if we choose?- Jack Viney - Legend
Couldnāt agree more. His contribution to that flag is criminally underrated by most. Set the tone early by smashing Macrae. Then was involved in all the bang goals. Everyone goes on about Jackson but youāll see Viney was the extractor.- Mick Malthouse "Demons Culture"
He doesnāt work for the club therefore cannot have an opinion based on his observations with the experience of 50 years at the top level? Conversely the only opinion that can therefore be taken seriously is those from within the club? That are inherently subjective and driven by vested interest? Strange take. Iād say Malthouse is more learned than the average observer. His opinions may not be infallible but I canāt understand how theyāre just dismissed like heās some nuffy.- Mick Malthouse "Demons Culture"
Coached the most games in the history of the AFL (718). Iād say that gives him some credibility.- Time for a Changeā¦.Donāt wait another 2 yearsā¦
Where is Roffey? Happy to take the back slaps when sheād been at the club for 2 minutes but when the chips are down and leadership is sorely needed sheās MIA?- Welcome to Demonland: Luker Kentfield
- PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
JJ doing well for swans in an assigned tagging role. Apparently not good enough to get a game with us, but good enough for the clear flag favourites. Of course Goody doesn't like taggers these days, even though that was where Harmes played his best football. On Harmes his last three weeks before he pinged his hammy have been: 27 touches 4 goals 18 touches 2 goals 22 touches 1 goal - Robbo parts company with AFL360
