  1. Who made you the arbiter of what a supporter should or shouldn't be? People choose to go, or not to go to the footy for various reasons. I stayed down the coast for Easter, have for 12 years and will contiune to do so. I will also attend as many home games as I can. I don't need somone else to tell me how to support my club.
  2. Thanks eveyone. i found a little booth opposite the temporary membership stand where you could pick up guest passes. The guest seating is behind the goals, it was a nice change to see the game from a different spot, however I wouldn't want to do it every week.
  3. Actually, it is on the App now, but i can't seem to forward it, but i can add it to my wallet which is useless. The email I did get was just a confirmation of purchase. It has a link to managing your purchase, which takes you to the club website, but still no option to forward.
  4. Yeah, i tried that, unfortunately guest passes aren't added to app.
  5. I have purchased a guest pass for a friend tomorrow night. Does anyone know where I can pick it up at the ground? Also, the club website says that you can't bring guests into the reseved seats area, but rather there is a guest seating area, however when I called the club today, they said we can sit in the area where I have my seat. Can anyone confirm what the deal is for guest passes for premium members? Thanks.
  6. He was brilliant, and unfortunately his white line fever will be what he was remembered for.
  7. Wow, you managed to get a beer. You should buy a powerball ticket tonight.
  8. Rent free Doggies, rent free. It's now official, Bevo is the Rudy Giuliani of the AFL. TMac was brilliant, Langdon ran all day and was damaging, Trac is next level.
  9. Great videos. Gee Goody communicates well. I remember he used to get a bit of stick for his media performances, but he sounded calm, clear and logical. In contrast, Bevo seemed all over the shop.
  10. It sounds like an apprenticeship in dummy spits.
  11. Do you mean despite his reputation? Rod had great skills, and was a beautiful kick. I suspect his white line fever may have been tempered somewhat in today's game.
  12. Nice work, although I am not sure I would have kept the sponsor logo.
  13. From memory, most of the Dee's supporters were up the other end. It would have been a draw if he kicked it. I thought we had won, and it was only when the Bombers fans started on me that I realised we had lost.
  14. I went to Windy Hill once, it was the game Steven Clark was kicking for goal after the siren, and the bombers fans ran onto the ground and made sure it wouldn’t go through the sticks. Feral Bombers fans, it was a scary escape. I went to Princes Park several times. I didn’t mind it except when we had to play home games there. I remember a game versus West Coast and they thrashed us by100 plus points. It was the angriest I have ever been at the footy. Waverley wouldn’t have been bad if it wasn’t at the a.. end of the world and a mongerel to get out of the car park, especially in the wet. It had a beautiful playing surface though.
  15. You are only as good as you're last game.
  16. He didn't need to be quick. His ball use and decision making was exquisite.
  17. You might want to check the terms. I have a friend who has only been tested today, and said he could home quarantine in QLD until he gets the results.
  18. Where did you get tested?
  19. No, I'm Leah, and so is my wife.
  20. Sorry, I was just having a bit of fun. No offence meant.
  21. hmm...what about STFU? 🤣
  22. I don't think so, he looks a bit younger. He was definitely at the game. The bloke who I gave my barcode to him up with him a few days after the game. Said he was rapt.
  23. Great. i guess that means we will need to offload Clarrie, Dogga and Lever in 2 years time because we are paying to much for Tmac and BB.
  24. When my sister, a Hawthon supporter, had kids i gave each one of them a Melbourne guernsey. None of them really got into the footy, and still don't today. When my brother had kids, I did the same. My brother isn't what you would call a die hard fan, but this year footy became a bit of relief from the drudgery of Covid. His 6 year old daughter would often sit and watch the footy with him if it was in the right time slot. My niece has not taken off her Melbourne jumper since Sunday, and is so proud to be a Dee's supporter. My brother thanked me for getting her a jumper with Trac's number, however my sister reminded him it was a hand me down from one of her kids. She also reminded me that when i gave it to my nephew I told her it was the number of a future captain of the MFC, Brock Maclean. No wonder they didn't get into the footy! What is great about the win is that a whole new generation of kids will be proud to wear our colours. My niece is already pestering me to take her to her first footy game.
