    ^^^^ agreed, Jamar is a terrible forward. Has no forward smarts, kicking for goal is abysmal and doesn't take enough contested marks up front for his size. People are still living off that Carlton game where he kicked 5 goals in 2009.

    One of the very few highlights of a terrible year. How good was his game v Weat Coast. Marked everything and got a brownlow vote in an 8 goal loss.

    I don't mind the idea of demoting Aussie to the rookie list, while sacking Newton to make room. That way we get to keep Joel MacDonald for depth/insurance. I think this option gives us flexibility. We have Davey, Jetta and Bennell as small fwd options, keep a veteran defender and can elevate Aussie as soon as we get a long term injury. The only risk is a club may take a punt on him in the earlier drafts

    I expect us to delist Juice and then invite hm back to do a pre season.

    Brisbane round 1 at the G would be a perfect start to the season. But I won't believe it till I see it. Remember it was reported a week before last years draw came out that we were playing Sydney at the SCG in round 1. Then when the draw came out, it turned out we were to play them at the MCG.

    Tonight helped. But our performances between Rd 15-24 this year were mostly disgusting, and we have a long way to go after a promising 2010.

    Stoked with this! Awesome that we were finally able to land a big fish - one that nearly got All Australian in 2009. The guy knows how to kick a sausage and he all of a sudden makes our fwd line look so much more potent with Jurrah, Watts, Howe, Sylvia and Petterd. Pick 12 is expensive but we still have Scully compo picks to use next year. Congrats Dees!

    Really hope we don't get Geelong down there. Sick of getting our pants pulled down there. I would love our first month to look like: Gold Coast MCG sat arvo Gws up there Richmond away at the G on sat arvo Essendon at home at the G on a Friday night And Gws to finish off at the G!

    I doubt we'll get him. Our ability to aquire players from other clubs during trade week has been abysmal over the last 4 or so years.

    Reminds me of Clint Bartram. Does a few good things but then spoils it all with Suburban like footy clangers. Wouldn't be too upset if he goes, but could provide important depth with the depature of Warnock.

    Apart from an excellent rd 24 game, he went backwards at an alarming rate. Probably will be involved in a good will trade where we trade him and a very late draft pick in the 80's on exchange for a pick in the 70's.
