    Brisbane round 1 at the G would be a perfect start to the season. But I won't believe it till I see it. Remember it was reported a week before last years draw came out that we were playing Sydney at the SCG in round 1. Then when the draw came out, it turned out we were to play them at the MCG.

    Tonight helped. But our performances between Rd 15-24 this year were mostly disgusting, and we have a long way to go after a promising 2010.

    Stoked with this! Awesome that we were finally able to land a big fish - one that nearly got All Australian in 2009. The guy knows how to kick a sausage and he all of a sudden makes our fwd line look so much more potent with Jurrah, Watts, Howe, Sylvia and Petterd. Pick 12 is expensive but we still have Scully compo picks to use next year. Congrats Dees!

    Really hope we don't get Geelong down there. Sick of getting our pants pulled down there. I would love our first month to look like: Gold Coast MCG sat arvo Gws up there Richmond away at the G on sat arvo Essendon at home at the G on a Friday night And Gws to finish off at the G!

    I would personally pack Stef Martin's suitcase and drive him to the airport if it helped get Clark over the line. Edit- is there a rule that prevents players being traded just after they re-signed with club?

    No player involved. We don't seen to chase players during trade week. I expect us to get their 3rd rd pick.

    And weren't we were in the box seat to get Hale at the start of last year's trade week. The Mfc needs lessons on how to negotiate successfully.

    I doubt we'll get him. Our ability to aquire players from other clubs during trade week has been abysmal over the last 4 or so years.

    The Hun briefly mentioned that we may be linked to Jordan Lisle from Hawks. So I'm proposing the following three way: Jordan Lisle to Melb Matt Campbell to Hawks Addam Maric to North Draft picks included

    Trade him for a 5th or 6th round pick upgrade. 7 seasons on the list and still can't cement his spot in the team. Not required.

    Reminds me of Clint Bartram. Does a few good things but then spoils it all with Suburban like footy clangers. Wouldn't be too upset if he goes, but could provide important depth with the depature of Warnock.

    Have to be the old school Demonland of Whispering Jack and Yze Magic. Rhino Richards and Hannabal have a hard edge about them that makes their posts worth reading.

    Apart from an excellent rd 24 game, he went backwards at an alarming rate. Probably will be involved in a good will trade where we trade him and a very late draft pick in the 80's on exchange for a pick in the 70's.

    Ended the season ok tagging the likes of Kerr and Ablett and keeping them below average in disposals. Tagging is his only hope. Who remembers the second game V Carlton. Three kicks in a row he did the following: 1) kicked into the man on the mark 2) kicked into the man on the mark 3) kicked out on the full. Stuff like the above suggests to me that next year will be his last at MFC... Maybe a trade could be facilitated next week? Bartram to Hawthorn or Carlton (who have a history of picking up our duds) for a 5th round draft pick upgrade?

    It was a disgrace on his behalf that he wasn't even selected in rd 24 v Port, after his suspension. Yes he didn't deserve a game, but a bloke of his callibre should be one of the first selected, not sitting around doing bugger all.

    That Carlton game killed his career at the club. A serviceable nothing special player that won't be missed. Highlight was keeping Barry Hall goaless last year. Warnock should've sought a trade at the end of last year.
