Awww thanks Kat 💕 I did have a happy birthday yesterday, what I remember of it anyways 🤭 Note to self: day-drinking is fine until it isn’t 😁 And as I’ve said many times, a hug of anything less than 20 seconds isn’t a hug at all. In my case it is, MD! So I have two reasons to celebrate today, which justifies the fact that I’m currently polishing off another bottle of champagne with my gal-pal who is also a birthday girl. 🥂 Here’s to day-drinking! 🥂

Today marks the 95th International Women’s Day (75th in Australia). A day to acknowledge the achievements of all women, particularly those who strove tirelessly for equity, the results of which means among many other things we have Kate as our president, and a deserving President at that. To quote a sign-off I share in PMs with another Dees gal ( 👋 xxx) on here… SHEILAS UNITE!!!! PS: before any of the ‘usual suspects’ get on here biiitching and Moaning… “why isn’t there an International Men’s Day???” There is, every November 19th. It’s just that y’all are too lazy to get off your arzes to promote it. 😝😁🙃

I can and certainly will bring it up with our awesome triumvirate. Not sure anything will be achieved, but it’s definitely worth the effort to pursue it.

My pics don’t convey the shiiitiness of the surface. The sections that’ve been laid have wide seams between them. They look like they’ve been plonked on and left as they landed. As for the AFLW GF turf at Brighton Homes Arena, yes there were no injuries but our girls commented on the fact that the ball simply wouldn’t bounce. This is mainly why the scores were so low. They said it was very difficult to play on a surface that was not nearly established enough to play on. They all reported the ground was “spongey.” Kate was concerned about this beforehand as well as afterwards even though we won.

LOL you out-of-towners amuse me! It’s actually “snorbz” but I figured no one would know what the hell I was talking about. Snorbz is the phonetic spelling of the abbreviation “S’n Albs” and any self-respecting bona fide snorbz denizen knows this. 😁

Unless he’s confided in one teammate or a small clique of teammates, the players don’t yet know. The whole playing group is hella close so you’d imagine if one knew, they’d all eventually know.

It was actually fun on the replacement bus (said no one ever, amirite) because giant Jayden’s presence started a bit of banter between me and a few Bulldogs supporters. Started off by one of them saying Jayden is limp-wristed, (to be fair, he was until I straightened his wrists at home later) and then it was on for young and old. There was four or five of them vs me, and Jayden too, only he didn’t say much, he just let his fists do all the talking. But I gave as good as I got. My crowning jewel… one of them said, “we beat you the last two times we’ve played.” I said, “We beat you when it mattered.” When we all spilled out of the bus at Sunshine Station, a couple of other passengers thanked me for making a replacement bus ride almost bearable. That’s a compliment of the highest order!

Sure! We can share the podium. I’ll get Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You can have what’s left. You’re welcome!

Don’t let that stop you! I brought giant Jayden home from Family Day by PT: three trains, a bus, and worst of all, those two words we all dread hearing… replacement [censored] bus. AND it was raining! AND I was carrying my weight in cakes and loaves of bread. But then, not everyone is “slightly deranged” as I’ve been described on here. 🙃 Worth every “excuse me” and “sorry about that,” the majority of which were on the packed replacement bus where Jayden punched as many passengers in the head as possible. Good times 😁

No, I had a black eye and bruised knees, and Mrs Frittata was in a moonboot and sling. So I guess she’s the one doing it incorrectly. But at least she’s doing it, amirite 😂
