  1. I prefer to call it sleeping under a blanket of stars. Sounds so much better.
  2. Well they weren’t there before I was bowled over. Safe to say they’re the big clumsy bugger’s prints.
  3. Of course he’ll see it and of course he’ll have something less than complimentary to say about it. All good now anyways. I dried off in the sun before the event started and all that’s left as a reminder of my personal 9/11 is a couple of paw prints on my pastel mint green bag. But it actually looks good. Might be the start of a new fad…
  4. Having a mini meltdown right now. No one I know is up this early on a Saturday so please humour me DL. I’m outside the ‘G sitting on a bench passing time coz early for a player sponsor function where I’ll get to chat with Langers and Fritta (the real Langers and Fritta, not my chooks) and this enormous excited dog came bounding towards me with a sopping wet tennis ball in his mouth and long story short now I’m covered in dog-slobber and muddy water!!! I’ve used the entire contents of my water bottle trying to remove the mud and now I look like I’ve wet myself. 😭😭😭
  5. You know that chrome thing that’s located above your sink, the one on the right hand side? Yeah, well that’s called a tap. 💦
  6. Here's a surefire way to shed those kilos, Red… drink water. Even if you were to change NOTHING in terms of diet and exercise, by drinking a minimum of 2 litres of water per day you’re guaranteed to drop weight, in particular you’ll see a reduction in belly-fat.
  7. …as well as more time to edit your posts, more allowance for pics and PMs and the warm n fuzzy feeling that comes with being a Life Member. ❤️💙
  8. As we all know, BBB will be losing his curly locks at Family Day to raise funds for the children’s cancer charity Challenge, a charity close to his heart, and one very worthy of support. Donations of any amount are much appreciated and can be made using this link… https://fundraise.challenge.org.au/bb But wait, there’s more… For a $50 donation you’ll get a Mark Knight picture signed by BBB!!!
  9. He wears 7XL Kaftans. “Broad” is putting it nicely. I have zero sympathy for him. He brings it all on himself. When I first joined DL he was so mean to me he had me in tears. I stopped posting. About a week later he PMd me with what I was sure would be an apology but all it said was “you need to harden the [censored] up”
  10. I’d say that’s correct, MD. Way more Ronald bears. ❤️💙 Fun fact: Re jumper numbers: Fritta had 31, 33 and 35 available. His dad Scott wore #35 for his entire playing career with Coldstream (incidentally, he’s still the record holder for most games played), as did his brother Darcey and also Fritta at one point wore #35. So it was a no-brainer that he wanted #35. But the Club decided HP would wear #35 so Fritta got #31.
  11. Most important question of all, Andy… who looked best in pink?
  12. I wonder if the artist knows this. Well spotted, btw.
  13. I don’t know who Vonnie is. But whoever he/she is I’m sure he/she loved the mini Fritta bear because from what I saw Fritta was the only one not laughing and I think I even got a little eye roll from him.
  14. I’ve never seen this, Daise. So I Google imaged it and found a better version of it… 😁
  15. Lucky bugger-all people read this thread (only a special few of us anyways) else everyone would now know my name. My assumed name that is, for my real name is Áine, pronounced awn-ya. Hadda anglicise it upon emigrating to Australia since I didn’t like being called “ayne” which rhymes with “pain” if you get my drift. 😭
  16. 🎵 … the times they are a-changin…🎵 Last night I cooked dinner for my son and me (by “cooked dinner” I mean tipped the delivery boy then put the pizza on two plates). I suggested we dine at the kitchen table . My son said, “what’s this, 1950s Oklahoma?”
  17. Red, was wondering if this mini Fritta bear (which I modified) could also be given protection… Protection from Fritta that is. Everyone else thought it was funny, especially his parents. Fritta, not so much. He seemed most unimpressed.
  18. You’re so full of [censored] it’s not funny. We all know to whom you refer when you say “nut job” and I’d rather you go with @Neil Crompton’s description, “seriously deranged but with a good heart” which is closer to the truth.
  19. Oi NC! It’s not often I get compliments like this, so I’m grabbing them with both hands (and feet). Red is the creator of this thread, he should be free to say whatever he likes, the shallower the better. 😁
  20. Awww thanks Red. If only everyone on this forum was even half as sweet as you. 😘 And by “everyone” I mean BBO.
  21. You’re so welcome, Angus. It was an absolute honour to march alongside the Ruby Demons. I thought I couldn’t possibly be any prouder to be a Demons supporter, but then yesterday happened. ❤️💙🌈❤️💙
  22. No Daise! it’s the complete reverse: I peeled back a couple of navy and white layers (one of them being my Bruce 11 Doull duffel coat) many years ago to reveal a red and blue core. I’m a Demon through and through!!!
  23. We may have a situation here, Red. The Blues are my second team. Soz.
