Not nearly as bad as I expected (and deserve). The trick is to drink an Olympic-sized swimming pool’s worth of water before going to bed. Yes you run the (very real) risk of wetting said bed (I didn’t, in case anyone is wondering) but you wake up feeling way less vomitty than you should.

But one thing’s for sure… death, taxes and a DeeArmy BBQ 🙃 Just waiting to hear from the Club as to the happy-haps but it’s gonna be a celebration (especially for fans who couldn’t attend the GF) similar to December 5th 2021 at the ‘G. Not as big, but just as much fun! Apparently even the players don’t know about this yet. But the girls being the girls they’ll be absolutely delighted to be there. The B&F is on that evening so it’s gonna be a saturation of Dees-ness!!! 🏆❤️💙🏆 PLEASE, PLEASE try to come on Saturday morning! Not to [censored]-can our Men, but you’ve no idea how bloody grateful the girls always are to see all the love and support from fans. They have so much time for us it’s not funny. Fun? yes! Funny? no. Well, funny sometimes: the girls are such a hoot. 😁 You never know, you might get a pic with say, Edo for example, then she might take her Premiership medal off and put it on you for another happy snap! Random scenario, I know. But stranger things have happened. 😉 JUST BE THERE!!!!

This wasn’t common knowledge, which is great since they surely would’ve targeted her during the grannie.

Irish flags update: Blaithin thinks she slept wrapped up in her flag, but isn’t sure. 😂 Goldie is getting hers signed by all the girls and then sending it to her mum and dad in Ireland. 💚

The players just arrived!!! This place is rocking. I’m drunk and you know what… I don’t care. Coz we’re all pretty drunk. GO DEES!!!

Mods, we really need an eye roll emoji. A full 360-degree eye roll would be great. And a sigh, if possible. A huge hyperventilation-inducing sigh. In the meantime… 🙄😮‍💨 I guess that’s just gonna hafta do.

LOL. I only have two settings… ‘Off’ and ‘Full Speed Ahead!’ and (unfortunately for my poor teenage son) I’m mostly stuck in the latter mode. I think I can go toe to toe with the Dees Gals (famous last words) 😂 Wish me luck! On a wing and a prayer…

You know how the old saying goes DiO: What happens at Mad Monday… Goes straight to Demonland 😁 PS Kat can’t get there until a couple of hours into proceedings (she’s flying back from Brisbane today). I told her if she can’t find me upon arrival she should look under all the tables. 🤣

Sounds good to me, Tim! I definitely don’t need that wish since I’ve got my drinkin’ pants on and there’s no stopping the revelry that comes with a much deserved premiership!!! Hashtag drinking with girls half your age could spell disaster, but what a way to go. 🙃

A joint effort, Luci. DL started me on the path and DA helped push me along. Now there’s no turning back. 🤣

When I woke this morning I legit thought it was a dream. (Same as in 2021 with our men’s.) But it’s real!!! And today I have the privilege and honour to get completely smashed with our girls!!! 😃 Yep. It’s a dream alright. But it’s a dream come true. ❤️💙 edit: just remembered in five days it’s our W B&F! Another opportunity to get *smashed with our girls!!!! *Drink responsibly

Apologies if I’ve already posted these pics. I’m all over the place with today’s win and the champagne’s not helping … anyways, the two Irish flags I added to our flag kit a few weeks ago went missing after the match. But then they were found… And the girls are welcome to keep them. They earned them today. And I’ve got a couple more for our flag kit anyways. 🙂 #JimmyWouldBeProud ❤️💙☘️❤️💙

You couldn’t have been in a better place. But I’m biased. 🤭 Seriously though that group of people that you got to sit with are the most dedicated, the most loyal W fans you could ever hope to meet. They have been there since the beginning. They follow the girls around the country, every single match. I’m extremely happy for them. After all they’ve given to our W comp, and our Club in general, they deserve this so much.

Yeah coz I need to start crying… again. Thanks PD! 🤣 I’m watching a bunch of vids from my cheer squad family and they are tugging at the old heart strings. I’m so proud of our team, our Club, all that goes with it. What a day!

I plan to!!!! I can’t sleep tonight. My beloved Army comrades are still WhatsApp-ing like they were when the final siren sounded. I’m getting an overdose of second-hand euphoria. And lovin’ it!!!

Cannot for the life of me believe this. Westy was a cert, I thought. And so did everyone else who was there. Unbelievable.

Daisy ALWAYS has time for the fans. Even having just captained her team in a Premiership match for the ages…

Thank you DZ, I will enjoy tomorrow. I may not remember much of it, but I will enjoy it nonetheless. 🙃 Regardless of the result today, Mad Monday was always gonna happen, of course. But geez, celebrating a Premiership with our girls will be memorable for sure.

We won this against all odds, really. Nothing was in our favour. Nothing was going our way. It almost seemed like a concerted effort by all to stymie everything we did. We were given no help, no advantage and were going into today as massive underdogs, not because of the footy we’re playing but because everything was stacked against us. So this win is even bigger and better than it appears. So bloody proud of this team. They’re most deserving of a Flag. And… they’ve got one!!!! Awesome rewards for awesome efforts. ❤️💙

Mad Monday celebrations tomorrow just got rowdier and way more raucous. 🤣 Not bragging, except 100% totally bragging I got an invite to Mad Monday, along with @Katrina Dee Fanwho may or may not be back from Brisbane in time. All good if she’s not, I’ll just party hard for both of us. 🍺🥂🍷🤣
