  1. I always thought they had a good list. The backline could crumble at any time and there are some plodgers. The recruitment of Harmes is a bit weird as is the 3 year contract but we will take it.
  2. Hopefully Howes does a McVee and gets super ripped and fit and therefore taking a wing. He has talent. He doesnt have time.
  3. Some ordinary teams in there. Thanks to the OP , great resource
  4. We should make Brown the goal kicking coach and get him off the boos like Luke Shuey did at WC.
  5. Sorry mate next time Ill ask permission in my choice of vocab. In all honesty to me: Point crunching is a Dodoro thing and actually making the list better is a Jason Taylor thing. As I said they mean nothing to us. It is real pro sport not EA Games is that better?
  6. Check our Top 10 B and F from ten years ago. Worse than West Coast I would think. Nathan Jones Colin Garland Dean Terlich Matt Jones Colin Sylvia Lynden Dunn James Frawley Jack Trengove Jeremy Howe Tom McDonald
  7. I wouldn't recognise half of those players even if they did a dump on my front lawn. *That could be more of a reflection on me
  8. I reckon Andy M-W will be next years McVee or 21's Petty
  9. Jefferson is a concern but is only a kid and has probably lost all confidence and possibly motivation. A huge pre season can change things but sometimes the mould is cast early eg Morton and about 5 other high picks that never eventuated.
  10. To think that a video posted online for supporters has any correlation to how our boys play is pure madness if not disrespectful. Watching us put the hammer down against Sydney last week with nothing on the line fueling endeavour other than professionalism was akin to watching Hawthorn smashing sides for fun in the 80s versions of Escort Cup. I was always jealous of that.
  11. In 50 years Clayton has been the best Viney has been the toughest Robbie the most courageous and skilfull Petracca the most powerful But no one has come near Max for having the biggest impact on the club. To play and lead as he has done is the single greatest football story in the clubs history. A full culture change in an 18 team comp culminating in a 57 year drought breaking flag and then to maintain the standard is by far the biggest mountain we have climbed. Thanks Max!
  12. @ monoccular You may have premature facepalmitis syndrome? PFS (in jest)
  13. We are right up to our eyeballs in it again this year. The cards are falling nicely with others being found out and a youth led revival propelling the final rounds of which we haven't really seen since 87. Our champions are all in form and hopefully our finest midfielder of all will be fit and firing to go from next week. Add a touch of Fritsch class and knowhow and we could well be on the way. Embrace the ride, have fun, it's is going to be epic. ** What I post here has absolutely nothing to do with how the team will perform. There are no omens. Supporters simply cant get ahead of themselves and therefore impact the team in some way. It makes no sense to be pessimistic and stressed. Time for that later.
  14. Odd thing to write. Should we message you for the green light prior to posting "anything" or are some things ok?
  15. I cant say I agree with you on in regards to that tird.
  16. Is there compensation for this type of free agent?
  17. It only happened once, September 87. Still hurts!
  18. A solid player but I am not an enamoured as others with his ability. Not in the same category for mine as others of the same age and experience bracket. Bower, Sparrow, Rivers, McVee and probably Woey are ahead of him. I can see Blake Howes in soon too playing a similar role. I won't relish seeing him play in another jumper but I wont be getting my nuts caught in my zipper over it.
  19. Makes no sense to me on any level other than financial.
