  1. No team for the NT. See above. Just a miserable take.
  2. Said with such authority and pomp. Tasmanian is our great games heartland. If you cant see that the compassion and support our footy family needs in Tassie and debate it over the whole $$ rubbish that is sad. Trust me, the $$ will sort itself out. Always does. The games not going bankrupt because of Tassie! It's probably some long standing gripe you have had with someone over this and you cant get past it. If you love footy you just have to love the concept of Tassie in the family.
  3. That 2016 game and last qr in particular was when the tide turned.
  4. Dunstall pondered that Fritsch wanted number 31, after being drafted at pick 31. Then noted, it's odd because it is nit as though 31 is a popular number. Huddo jumped in to remind him that the number 31 is actually quite famous at Melbourne. I have always admired Dunstalls clarity when analysing games but that Spalding knee to the concaved head could be taking it's toll. It's only natural I suppose. That was a horrific injury and respect as he was one incredible skilful, selfless and tough footballer. But it's amateurish to commentate on a Melbourne and say that about the 31. Give me the race caller anytime
  5. He's getting dementia and forgets names of players regularly. Speaking of dementia, I am not sure he was captain when he left. I thought it was Ditterich to Robbie to Greg Healy to Lyon
  6. Absolutely. At the end of the 3rd game it is looking like I was way off. Fingers crossed it will last throughout the season. TMac way better than BB and I still have doubts on him. But hey, I am a supporter who is more than happy to be proven wrong. Hopefully after Flag 14 you can remind me again. It is only March
  7. AI collective Demonland thoughts 1 hr after the game rd3 for all Those with dyslexia adhd or cant be [censored] reading Melbourne Victorious, But Injuries Loom: A Deep Dive into Demonland Forums The Melbourne Demons faithful have gathered on Demonland Forums, their virtual MCG, to dissect the recent thrashing of arch-rivals Hawthorn. A dominant win, it seems, can't fully mask the anxieties gnawing at the edges of their jubilation. Here, we delve into the thoughts, uncovering the emotions, opinions, and concerns swirling amongst the passionate Demon supporters. A bittersweet victory: The resounding win undeniably brings elation. Fans like "Rodney (Balls) Grinter" express pure joy at witnessing Hawthorn's downfall, especially considering the historical dominance the Hawks once held. However, a contingent led by "dl4e" tempers the celebration. They acknowledge the victory but argue a victory against a lackluster opponent like Hawthorn shouldn't overshadow the real concern – injuries. Injury woes: The shadows of May and Lever's injuries loom large. Speculation runs rampant, with some fearing an ACL tear for Lever. Relief washes over the forum as fans like "Jaded No More" dissect post-game interviews, hoping the injuries aren't as severe as initially feared. This concern highlights the crucial role these defenders play and the potential vulnerability their absence might expose. Demonstrating Depth: Despite the defensive worries, faith in the team's depth remains strong. Names like Petty, Tom Tomlinson, and Jayden Hunt are tossed around as potential replacements, offering reassurance that the backline can hold firm. This resilience in the face of adversity speaks volumes about the team's overall strength. Shining Stars: The win wasn't without its individual bright spots. Fritsch's impressive performance earns him praise, while Petracca and Gawn's consistent excellence is acknowledged. JVR, the new recruit, particularly impresses fans with his ability to battle in the ruck and contribute at ground level. These individual contributions paint a picture of a well-rounded team firing on all cylinders. Taking Aim at the Hawks: Hawthorn's dismal performance, particularly their abysmal first quarter, becomes a target for the Demons' supporters. Sarcastic comments and jokes flow freely, with some fans, like "samcantstandya," even wishing for a prolonged period of struggle for the Hawks. This animosity towards the rivals adds a layer of spice to the overall celebratory mood. Beyond the Win: While the core discussion revolves around the game, other topics surface throughout the thread. Umpiring decisions are questioned by some, adding a layer of frustration to the mix. A lighthearted debate erupts over the appropriateness of nicknames for young players, with "whatwhat say what" questioning the use of "Wizard" for a player with limited experience. Finally, the ever-present dislike for commentator Gerald Healy finds renewed expression, reminding everyone that even in victory, some grievances remain. A United Front: Despite the range of opinions and concerns, a sense of unity emerges from the forum. Demons' fans stand together, celebrating the win, acknowledging challenges, and offering support to the team. The collective hope is that the injuries won't derail their momentum and that the team can continue its dominant run. The final sentiment, perhaps best captured by "Rodney (Balls) Grinter," is one of cautious optimism: success should be savored, but challenges lie ahead.
  8. Now chasing all of my comments around to get narky. Weirdo
  9. Still call BS even if it was written on the underside of the 21 cup.
  10. Because I still call bs on the 2nd in time trial rubbish that you buffoons spew.
  11. He and BB are massive liabilities for the club in 2024. It's ridiculous.
  12. To all of the nuffies who were giving me a hard time and banging on about how fit Tmac is and 2nd in the time trial. I still don't believe it. Seriously some people just get so loose on here with wanting to be outraged. This was taken when the debutants were announced this week. Always an immortal but he certainly does not look like a guy in peak fitness to me. Some of you are so thick.
  13. blake howes hopefully will come on in his place
  14. a 44 pts down? When was this? How can I watch? Edit: Brain fade it was MFC v Geelong 21. I misread it as Windsor played in a TAC gf where they were 44 points down and won. I was keen to watch that!
  15. I think his hammy issues may have been a ruse
  16. Most exciting first year player, according to training vision, since Clayton. Blake Howes is another who looks good. Throw in JVR, Judd and potentially Kolt and we have a gun baby Demon group coming through. Anything can happen.
  17. Another try hard witty one liner that someone had already used. Our resident comedian Ethan. Only problem is he is the only one who enjoys his lazy comedy.
  18. Fair enough then. Let's all be happily frustrated then by the ridiculous BB Superannuation 24 show.
  19. It just makes sense. We gotta give it a go. Brown wont even be fit to play any games anyway. At least we get someone who is fit and playing alongside his bro could do wonders for him.
  20. put bb on long term never to realistically wear the jumper again list. Maybe ex Swans ruckman , 32 year old Tom Hickey is keen on a keep fit, year as Max's back up?
  21. Absolutely. Without wanting to sound like the Rono of 24, our time with BB should have been over 2 years ago. Last year was just embarrassing and this year is the year where het is an encumbrance to the list development. Whatever the reasons were back then for a 4 year contract are coming back to bite us now. And before I get roasted, yes I know he is a 21 immortal. He kicked 3 against a very undersized and ordinary WB backline in the GF. He was handy for sure but I reckon Jack Fitzpatrick would have even kicked a couple during the hour of power.
  22. I have no doubt the Nephew of a Nigerian Diamond Mine Owner will be on the phone soon enough
