Libby Birch - We Love You
Wizard of Koz replied to spirit of norm smith's topic in AFLW Melbourne Demons
Never heard of her. -
Ginnivan is an arrogant [censored] who got what was coming. Verbally not physically. The footy world needs to toughen up and no be so outraged.

Beautiful to see the sooks get rolled

There is absolutely no chance of this being true. Fantasy land. Just think about it.

Ridiculous. Heaps of superstars in all sports have these moments and get over it.

FWIW. My take is that he does love the club and fans. Without processing he is still trying to make his point and probably revels in the attention of being number 1 and being wanted. He has missed that over the last few months and things have festered. No doubt there was some lack of support. Some people wouldn't bat an eyelid and others stew on it under it becomes an outlet for all sorts on pent up frustration. The media clowns would be encouraging the anger as would close family members who through what they see as support. He has been with us since he was 18 and the grass probably looked greener when clarity of thought was missing. In time he will come out and explain and will probably be a touch contrite and it is time that will heal. Once he is back being the alpha dog at training and matched and the adulation is back he will revert to Trac of old. I don't hold any grudges against because all of us have our weaknesses. Deep down he is probably relieved and learnt a few lessons. The club have been resolute and it is the media buffoons who were look like fools. The way Sam Edmund pontificates make me cringe.

No chance he plays. Just when the talls are starting to gel. It would be embarrassing and undignified for him of he played. Should have retired last year and allowed the club to move on without chewing up rehab resources. Which was obviously going to happen since about Rd 10 2022. Forever a Demon immortal and that's really cool. -
Goodbye "Dean Bailey era playing for draft picks" mentality. Hello "next Flag tilt"
-
Spot on. The James Jordan story has always been over played. Even when he was with us he was mostly ineffective. Talk of Grundy being AA few weeks ago was ridiculous also.

He is a good coach and has earned the right to pivot, regroup and go again. A few more angles and perspectives is whats needed. Maybe a shake up of the assistant coaches would be worth a go. Definitely list management is skewed. Is Chokko still raining magic? I have no idea but I hope all is looked at objectively.

Just as I presume most of the players would do if they could, I will put you on ignore. Great outcome!

Not quite sure what you are getting at. That is one example. Daw, Dunstan, Schache, Brown, Brown to name a few have been the depth players I am talking about. Sometimes it's ok to critically analyse the clubs list management choices. The predictable fury that you and WCW have whenever someone slightly questions the list, strategies or players output over the journey is nauseating. It's ok to love the club and still question its strategy and directions in a mature way. The Ben Brown argument is done to death. Yes he is an immortal and for that he will always be a legend of the club but it would be good if we can still discuss his overall output over the 4 years without the usual suspects throwing shallow guilt trip arguments around. WCW we all know how much you love the boys. I ask you kindly to step back and let others discuss the club and players at times without ramming your nose in it and being the holier than thou protector of all. It is shallow and a touch odd.

I am not comparing to Langdon. He deserves 4 years and is a fantastic player. Just the depth argument and not treading carefully when signing players to 4 years. Due diligence is always necessary even if it is for depth. Signing any player long term for future depth is fraught with danger and will almost always end up as we are now.

I will see your depth argument with a Schache and raise it with a Ben Brown
