  1. 10 years ago we all would have just wanted to see us be competitive. 10 years later and I hope we never hear that vomit again.
  2. Who of the current crop would replace some of these legends in effectively the MFC Best of all time 22? And possibly who will? ** Thanks Demonwiki B John Beckwith Tassie Johnson Don Cordner HB Noel McMahen Gary Hardeman Don Williams C Brian Dixon Allan La Fontaine Robert Flower (vc) HF Hassa Mann Ivor Warne-Smith Garry Lyon F Jack Mueller Norm Smith Percy Beames R Denis Cordner Ron Barassi (c) Stuart Spencer I Frank Adams Bert Chadwick Wally Lock Laurie Mithen Jim Stynes Todd Viney EM Stan Alves Robert B Johnson Ian Ridley Greg Wells Coach Norm Smith I would think theres a place currently for Max, Trac, Clayton, May and futures market is Kozzie.
  3. Claytons inability to be the same as everyone else is what makes him the ultimate living legend!
  4. The best recruit our club has ever brought in from another club. Ever.
  5. Serious long term talent. I would like to see him have a run through the midfield. Centre clearance potential for sure.
  6. He was certainly not reliable. Not sure where you boys get your rose coloured glasses from. Nor was he handy. A week to week asset is rubbish, more so weak to weak. Absolute spud in the dark ages.
  7. Over how many years? How many with us? How many points? 280 goals in 70s in 140 in 2020s.
  8. Nah, he was a spud. Yes agree with violent 70s comparative.
  9. Brewer was incredibly soft, a turn over merchant, and embodied dark dark ages of the late 70s.
  10. OK. An over the top reaction is too when the reaction is too extreme and not suitable, or demanding too much attention or effort, especially in an uncontrolled way. All sorted now mate?
  11. I agree! What sort of miserable dog would bag any of the immortals 12 months on. Obsessively weird
  12. Blake "Thurston" Howes is the one. Going to be a very good player.
  13. Tom Hawkins 2 first quarter gf goals from ruck throw is why. The way the game is played a dominant ruck in forward line is critical. Then want from outside def centre square back. The team needs to have someone take advantage of forward 50 throw in and stoppages and get it to the magicians or goal themselves rather than have the ball taken away easy. Forward 50 pocket bombs away! Anyway thats how I see it working
  14. This is where the beauty of 21 is the gift that keeps giving. I am nowhere near as gutted as I would have been should 21 had not have happened. I am curious to how long this will last
  15. salem on the wing? Free him up a bit.
  16. Maybe there is an agreement in place for one of their gun Vic players to be part of the trade. Keeping names out of the media circus is in everyone's best interest. One of Darcy, Young or Serong. That makes sense to me. Add in a barrel of upgrade picks and swaps
  17. Thats not the message that was being conveyed. Wake up
  18. Absolutely one of lifes secrets to unlock to making the most out of every experience. Deep, repetitive mindful breathing is an important high performance tool when practiced as intended. For the uninitiated give this 11 min practise a go and see how you feel immediately afterwards and for the preceding hour or so.
  19. Twice in the 3rd quarter of a grand final. Taking in BBB first of the last it was close to 4 goals in 1 min of playing time as well as the harmes starter hatrick minute.
  20. 87 v Swans was awesome. Great experience. The week before v North the crowd was even more primal. This weekend could not have gone any better for us. Our best is THE best. Again.
  21. He is well and truly down the track of being one of if not the MFC's greatest ever. No-one, not even Robbie or Barrassi, were as consistently superb as Clayton. Thats my opinion anyway.
