From all reports Burgess was heavily involved in our gameday strategy before he left as well. We've lost alot of IP with both of them leaving. Whoever gets the role will need to be innovative like Burgess and Yze.

Yabbie Jeans used to tell his players to lick blood off themselves so the opposition couldn't see them bleed. Thats old school. Voted the most selfless player in our premiership year. Rolled Brayshaw onto his side before the trainers or medical staff did when Brayshaw was unconcious. He epitomises what is great about our club.

The difference between us and Port is our game plan put us in a position to win in both finals and it stacks up in high intesity games.

Don't forget changing the ruck rules so Jeff White couldn't get his run up

In the stats thread Oliver & Viney are rated 1 & 2 for Pressure Points based on TOG. I'm guessing this has something to do with it.

I'd like to see those statistics. Does anyone have a link? The funny thing is i reckon Petracca is often the worst kick of the lot of them. His best is the best but his worst is horrible.

If Kozzie was flying for marks which he basically never takes then falling over i would agree with you but he makes a contest and stops the oppositions Jake Levers taking intercept marks. He is still buzzing around creating pressure when he lands after his failed attempt. He can't create an effective contest with his height without flying for it. I'm more concerned about bigger players who don't make it to the contest and are less effective when the ball in on the ground.

I'd tread carefully with Kossie in that regard. We need more x factor in our forward line not less. Everything about our game plan is predictable, he isn't.

I hope JT does another trade none of us understand if we are winners or losers but we get to death ride someone next year.

Amazing i'm still fuming about this when we have a final to play tonight. I'm so sick post tribunal decision of posters, general public and media talking about a "loophole" and the need for a rule change at the end of the season. The rule and opportunity to suspend is there. Rough Play is either intentional or reckless. There is no definition of "footballing act" that somehow absolves you of any responsibility for your actions. The AFL is p!ss weak and no rule change will fix that.
