Sparrow will be an interesting one next year as I agree that he’s one dimensional, but I also reckon he looked like he was given a rigid/defensive/negative half forward role that didn’t suit him, under Goodwin. So I’d like to see how he looks in a more attacking King side. And yes, King (or Taylor?) said we wanted to draft players that hit the scoreboard and we lack a small forward so Pickett just makes sense on that front in filling a need. Frees up other players like you said.

Add Steele, Viney, Rivers and Kozzie too. We aren’t short of mids, we’re short of a cohesive midfield that has played many games together, to which, the only way to get that cohesion is for them to play together.

Also could be very niche and too hard to find/doesn’t exist, but I’d love to see the percentage of marks inside that V, versus outside for us. Would be a great metric to compare with for the end of next year. @WheeloRatings is there already a stat that shows something similar to this?
