Casey Demons - offseason 2024/5
Gone for a Tosca (no, not a euphemism. Just one for the oldies).

Casey Demons - offseason 2024/5
Campbell Hustwaite definitely not coming back. He has signed with Rosebud, as has Mitch White.

Club in crisis - Media pile on - August 2024
So Barrett sarcastically mocks Melbourne for holding players to their contracts. Then says this about Port Adelaide: IF ... there has been a worse transaction in trade history than Port's for the exit of Dan Houston ... THEN ... nah, there hasn't been. Too nice, this club. I would've held him to his contract. Played off a break by player agent Paul Connors, who was afforded way too much control. Let's see if a big-name, Connors-managed player joins Port in the 2025 trade period. That would be the only justification for this 2024 trade period disaster. And even that wouldn't make it right. Make up your mind.

Ash Johnson - Delisted
Just another on a long list of AFL players who showed a glimpse of immense talent when playing Melbourne...and at no other time in what inevitably turned out to be a short career.

Why no key forward?
Happy to back in what we already have. As others have said, it's the delivery that's the bigger problem. No thanks to either Darling or Parker. I'd like to think we have learned our lesson in getting top up players who are on their way out. Much happier with Sharp who at least has an upside. I'd have taken Membrey just to prevent him playing against us.

Dan Houston
It's been going on for years. IIRC Richmond were paying a fair whack of Ben Holland's contract when he moved to the Dees.

Oliver Trade Rumours
According to Wikipedia India averages the most derailments in the world. Demonland must be closing in.

Dan Houston
Spot on SONS. Why would you willingly stengthen another contender? If Houston genuinely didn't care where he landed, surely North was the logical destination from a Port viewpoint.

Don't know why you're so salty Saty. Obviously we're not going to reveal our sources. I can't speak for Picket but my source is a very good one who has no reason to feed me BS. I thought Demonlanders would want to know that Geelong still think they're a chance. That's me done for the day. Enjoy the sunshine folks.

Oliver Trade Rumours
I can only guess that they think Melbourne will be happy to offload him. Like everyone else in this 130 pages of running around in circles I have absolutely no idea what Melbourne are thinking!

Oliver Trade Rumours
You'd hope not.

Oliver Trade Rumours
Meanwhile back on topic...my Geelong contact tells me they haven't given up on getting Oliver. He definitely wants out. If what he is telling me is true it will be a future first rounder and nothing else. Thankfully only five more days of wild speculation before we can all have a good lie down.

Kate Hore - 5 Stars
Rinse and repeat.

I reckon we're a distant second behind Gold Coast. He has been brutal on them all year.

MFC MARK OF THE YEAR 2024
Kozzie. Has to get some recognition for sticking one after career attempt #412.

Champion footballer. Even better bloke. Simply the best.

2024 Brownlow Medal
FFS. Let it go.

2024 Brownlow Medal
Like almost everyone else I'd love to see Bontempelli win it but it seems the winner will come from Daicos, Cripps or Neale. If that's the case (and I realise I'm inviting a lengthy suspension from Demonland for saying this) I hope Daicos wins it outright. Say what you like about him being an outside player, his ball use is off the charts. Cripps already has one that he shouldn't. Winning in 2022 was a victory for the Carlton lawyers. Neale is a very, very good footballer but triple Brownlow Medallist? No thanks.

2024 AFL Grand Final
I don't mind Sydney winning it, they have been the best team all season. Happy for Chris Fagan if Brissy get up but that is massively offset by the thought of seeing Zorko get a premiership medallion. Swans by 27.

NON-MFC: Preliminary Finals
I get that but why 5.15 when we've had other starting times all year?
-
NON-MFC: Preliminary Finals
Tradition! Such a stupid time slot. We've had 3.20 and 4.20 all year.
