IN: Scully, Trengove, Gawn (depending on tomorrow, can't wait!)
Out: Morton, Bennell, Newton (depending on Gawn's game)
Essendon have lots and lots of tall timber.
It's not excuses, it's a FACT. This week, and the next couple are irrelevant for anything but identifying talent that's not up to it. There's no point getting upset, we have no cattle at the moment. Tomorrow's game has more relevance that tonights game.
I don't understand why more clubs don't do a Carlton. There strip is what some would say "God Awful". But it doesn't clash with anything in the league, it's a clear contrast to anything else either at the game or on tv, and apparently they sell more of them that they can make at the moment. You can make money from something different. Why not have something less traditional? Lets make some money
Goddard had 24 handballs. Mostly on the half back line, in a panicked motion to a team mate because he had no idea what to do with the ball. He wasn't that good
Riewoldt although had lots of the ball was well held by Frawley.
I thought Gwilt had 5 good minutes in the whole game.
Although Riewoldt had 31 possessions, I thought that Watts was just as good. Both kicked 2 goals ( not counting the 50m penalty) and Riewoldt kicked two out of bounds and one on the full. Watts just demanded the ball it the corridor so many times it was good to see.
Watts was great. He uses the ball exceptionally well and creates a contest. I would start him and half forward and let him drift back and play through the centre. He's going to be a gun. He's huge and well and is going to knock somebody out Neitz style
I just asked what he got reported for. Geez. Maybe I was tending to child at the time, I just didn't see it. I did see the rest of his game which was appalling.
I don't know what I hate more, North Melbourne or Eat-your-hat stadium............... Or Brad (look at me, all I do is whinge) Scott
I'd love to pump them by 10 goals and shut a few pie holes from a irrelevant club. Maybe I'm dreaming
I flew back in from NZ for the game. Good thing too! After last week's effort I was going to stay an extra day for Mother's Day but decided against it.
Couldn't believe my luck!
I was expecting him to say "No, I don't want he *&%ing job", after being ribbed into giving an answer to a question that was barely given a thought.
Or "you've got 4 weeks to sort it out or things must move on for next year without Bailey".
