TMac charged $3000 for kneeing Plowman

Whilst mummy is a dog of a bloke and we all know he intentionally fell into the bombers player with his knee, its a completely different action to what Lynch/Tmac did -

Yes I am aware, we also have years of data to use as reference -
When Carlton were coming hard, Jordon got in and under and dump kicked it 3 times to just get the ball out of the D50 and each time it went to a Carlton player. Every time it was the right choice to give our defence the time to reset and get the ball out of the area. This negatively impacts his DE percentage but was the right thing to do in game.

Concussions. He has had atleast 4 of them and if he gets another bad one he is done as a footballer. He is being played on the outside because it protects him from himself, because he can't help but lead with his head when going for the ball.

No excuses here, You cant drop a knee onto an opponent no matter how hard or soft it is. Tom Lynch did it and copped a fine, so can Tmac. Here is the precedent https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-10-10/richmond-afl-knee-tom-lynch-dougal-howard-st-kilda/12750976 -
The most wins/highest ladder position

Just on the law of averages, as history tells us the top teams in the last 20 years lose 1-6 games in a season. I've looked through the fixture and I think well win some and possibly lose some of those line ball games, never know a likely win could turn into a loss, an injury in game may occur that throws out our balance, just unpredictable. If we do better than 18-4 I'm gonna be ecstatic so some of my logic is possibly tempering my own expectations. -
It's so nice backing this side and going into games confident without any anxiety. Like at worse, well be 9-1 and it aint gonna happen Dees by 55

Our best results in seasons are: 1990 - 16 - 6 (4th) 1956 - 16 - 2 (1st + Flag) We went 15 - 3 in 37(2nd +PF), 39 (1st + Flag), 55 (1st + Flag) and 58 (1st + lost GF) In more recent history: 2000, 2004 + 2018 we went 14 - 8 in all 3 of those years Best Ladder position at the end of H&A was 3rd in 2000 I predict we'll go 18-4 this year -

Jason Taylor is superior, JM got alot of credit fot JT's work
-
Carlton could be with us for 3 quarters as well like they did with the bulldogs, however I still expect to win by 40+

Got more detail from this post then the age article

I don't believe the MFC get to decide (or take on the cost of) how much of the ground's facilities are open or how much food and beverage staff is rostered on.
-
It would be an MCG decision in regards to how much staff to roster on and opening bars/food outlets based on expected crowd
-
Restricting the player by not being able to handball so they are forced to attempt to drop the ball onto their foot for a low % kick or risk being caught holding the ball? You mean the perfect tackle?

Was just watching the 2018 replay when we crushed em by 109 points. I noticed how much our list has improved since then and noted the changes from the 22 Melbourne IN: May, Petty, Rivers, Langdon, Jordon, Ben Brown, Pickett, Weideman, Hunt and Chandler Out of the side: Jetta, Jones, Melksham, Viney Out of the club: Hogan, OMac, Hannan, Lewis, Tim Smith, Vince Carlton: Only have Harry McKay, Patrick Cripps, Liam Jones, Lachie Plowman and Marc Murphy playing from that game in 2018 They have improved some positions by adding Walsh, Stocker, Weitering, Saad, Williams and Betts to the team The rest, meh

I think Chandler is in for his pressure and chasing that weed and brown barely bring
-
I think we will win by 10-15 goals
-
I think that's the problem. The AFL directive is to not pay legit free kicks for HTB/Throwing to keep the ball moving. So the umpires are directed to ignore some actual rules of the game sometimes. It be like if the NBA ref's were told to ignore fouls to keep the game moving and reduce free throws. Bizarre stuff

I cant believe Goody actually dropped Milkshake. I thought that was impossible. WOW PS: I think its a good call, super excited to see what Chandler can do re: pressure and we get the weed!

The first two round were 100% superior. You can always tell when the umpires have been told somethings a focus for the week by their superiors, ie; the 15m mark rule and the quickening of play on interpretation
