  1. I must point out that the greatest of them all (in my humble opinion) was 6 times premiership player Frank Adams (6 by 6)!😀!
  2. Number 21: worn by the great Don Cordner, former Melbourne captain, Brownlow medallist and Melbourne, Cricket Club president.
  3. 6: Petracca 5: ANB 4: Fritsch 3: Viney 2: Brayshaw 1: Rivers and special mention to Melksham, Hunter, Langdon and May.
  4. Best of luck Adem, but be very very careful, remember Danny Frawley!
  5. 6: Lever 5: ANB 4: Rivers 3: Viney 2: Melksham 1: Sparrow and Brayshaw, JvR, Langdon👍.
  6. Yes, if anybody has information on the candidates? Bad luck there are no retired MFC players standing. There are certainly enough former players who belong to the Cricket Club and a good many would have the business experience required to join the committee.
  7. 6: Viney 5: Petracca 4: Gawn 3: Neal Bullen 2: Pickett 1: Brayshaw and Chandler, Hunter and Rivers✔️
  8. Good day at the G and an impressive win. 6: Gawn 5: Viney 4: Petty 3: JVR 2: Neal-Bullen 1: Langdon
  9. 6: Gawn 5: Viney 4: Brayshaw 3: Salem 2: Chandler 1: Pickett
  10. 6: May 5: Petracca 4: Salem 3: Swallow 2: Viney 1: Bowey And we’ll done to Taj Woewodin for his first game!
  11. I must admit that I have not read every post in this particular discussion, but one thing I want to mention is the number of children I saw of the match in Melbourne colours: very pleasing indeed. My grandson got his jumper autographed by Kozzy Pickett before the match and after the match, high-fived by Max Gawn: best day at the football ever he reckons. Lots of kids now growing up as Demons supporters😀!
  12. Wow what a game and my grandson got #36 to sign his #36 jumper as well! 6: Viney 5: Salem (welcome back, we really missed you). 4: Hunter 3: Rivers 2: May 1: Tomlinson
  13. You bet! 4 goals and a punch on to Pickett for the winning goal in the final seconds of the game.
  14. 6: Petracca 5: Viney 4: Oliver 3: Rivers 2: Neal-Bullen 1: Hibberd
  15. I’ve been wondering about the one long, one short sock; anyone know why? If I’m not mistaken the rest of the team wear short socks (they don’t appear to be long socks pulled down, but real short socks).
  16. 6: Petracca 5: Oliver 4: Grundy 3: Brayshaw 2: Langdon 1: Viney
  17. 6: Viney 5: Gawn 4: Petracca 3: Chandler 2: Oliver 1: Van Rooyen
  18. I’ve seen no mention of Ricky Petterd! I remember him almost winning a game for us against Collingwood in the dark old days. He almost took a mark in front of goal in the last seconds of the game but was blinded by the sun and the ball dropped out of his hands: we were just a couple of points down at the time. I’m not certain but I seem to remember him banging the ground with his fists in utter frustration afterwards. Also famous for having his life saved by doctors at the ground after suffering a collapsed lung during a game. If I remember correctly the doctors took a bit of a gamble and punctured his lung with a sharp instrument enabling it to re inflate*. Ended up playing a few games with Richmond. *Apparently the doctors were nervous wrecks afterwards!
  19. Surely Brad Miller deserves a mention: far more intimidating than Hogan at CHF and with a rather nice ex wife as well!
  20. WOW, The banner was fantastic, certainly one of the best I’ve seen in my many years of Dee watching! BUT, you’ve set yourselves an almost impossible task: how are you going to better it for Clayton’s 200th?
  21. I really must go with others on Oliver, he was great! 6: Oliver 5: Lever 4: Grundy 3: Petracca 2: Jordon 1: Hunter
  22. Just for interest, how old were David Neitz and Nate Jones when they played their 150th?
  23. 6: Gawn 5, Petracca 4: Lever 3: Pickett 2: Oliver 1: Brown All in all a good night at the footy!
  24. Got a couple; Wednesday and Yesterday. Put them both into junk mail! Damned if I know how they obtained my email address (although maybe I can guess). Cheeky ba***rds!
