  1. Was gonna make the very same comment... even the Cox bit.
  2. If an opportunity arises for some lighthearted chat, I'd like to know what gets on Rick Lever's nerves. And then, once Rick is down, what Steven does to make things that much worse for him. 😉
  3. Gutless. Where's the comeback? Where's the grit?
  4. My folks live near the new Anzac station and I live in Caufield very close to the racecourse. Never takes me more than 15-20 to get to my folks and that's straight up Dandenong Road.....
  5. Good point this past one.... jokes about the river aside. That bloody bay gets in the way....
  6. That Coles is an absolute bewt. The chicken from the Korean place in the plaza is worth a go, too...
  7. Got trains, trams (67) near enough, Monash Freeway not far, lotsa space, and that very Melbourne leafy sense of relaxed prosperity..... And I live nearby, so it's a lock.
  8. Got some seats with the fam in the Ponsford Stand. Great to be here after twenty years overseas ... tho can somebody do something about the cost of rent? 😉
  9. Good point re the school. Facilities there are absolute shyt. No conflict of interest on my part, ofc, though my kids go there. No, no, no.... no conflict of interest at all. [censored] that I am, the first time I visited I assumed the Glenhuntly oval was attached in some way to the school, ignoring the fact that a rinlgock fence without a gate separated the two. Alas, by the time the penny dropped the kids were in and now have but a [censored] poor parody of a running track to dart about on, though tbh the gym aint bad.... Any case, I'm all in for MFC to Caufield RC. Get it done!
  10. Err.... Monash hit yo go freeway, so people could come in cars easily from many directions.
  11. Probly been shouted down already, but isn't Caufield Racecourse being redeveloped? Good public transport, not far from the Monash, etc.....
  12. Devices such as these, yeah? https://www.amazon.com.au/Fire-TV-Stick-4K-Max-with-Alexa-Voice-Remote-and-TV-Controls/dp/B08MR37WXM https://www.jbhifi.com.au/collections/tvs/fire-tv-stick
  13. Yeah, just saw it. Looks pretty good.
  14. One of the richest soils in the country, apparently.... You can see the before and after the Tower Hill eruption in the walls of a midden somewhere near Levy's point if I remember correctly.
  15. Back in the 70's it could be scary.... One of my favorite memories of childhood is rounding the corner at the top of the hill heading home to Port. That glimpse of Tower Hill on the right and then away across Killarney and pines of Port in the distance. Goosebumps just thinking about it....
  16. There's a Kayo membership on the site, says Coming Soon for $263 for 12 months. Fair discount. Wonder if it will ever actually appear.....
  17. Spotted Max at Gosch's this morning about 8:20.....
  18. Four 'n' Twenty 18 pack going for $23.99 at Costco. Might sneak a couple in under my beanie...
  19. Didn't know that. I'm from Port Fairy, btw.....
  20. Damm good idea.... cheers.
  21. Yeah, its a topic that has been covered before, but I thought I'd begin anew in case there's been innovation in the field, so here goes: What is the cheapest/best value way to get footy on the TV or streaming app? Free to air sux, obviously, and Kayo is comprehensive but expensive and Foxtel is even more so. Any other alternatives? In explanation, now that I'm back in Aus permanently, membership/attendance is competing with TV coverage for a limited supply of $AUD, so... I turn to Demonland for help and support. I mean, where else?
