Get real .. our defending was pathetic allowing 3-4 easy goals , were was the defending on the goal line twice??? We have invested heavily on May & lever who should be enduring this [censored] doesn’t happen .. Goodwin taking the team backwards!

Scoreboard flattered us & Goodwin needs to be held accountable for the continued slide with a game plan that isn’t working, the drafting of 2 wingers & the huge investment on 2 defenders & we cop 3-4 soft goals! We’re is the leadership from May & Lever to defend the goal line??? Were is the game plan for the ball movement for our 2 wingers we drafted??

People we have the wrong coach & over invested in 2 defenders who can’t defend the goal line on 2 occasions! We now have Gc , Carlton, saints, Nth who have gone passed us again .. a disgrace after a decade of pain & early picks it’s like 2010 replay

Hate to say but feel as though the blues, saints, suns, north may have overtaking us. if they all finish above us Goodwin inc recruitment & other coaches need to hand the keys in!

We lack goal kickers & Kent just kicked 2 against the Tigers..... We bring in 2 overpriced defenders plus future picks go & let Frost walk..... Tell me the sense ????

We have a coach who has lost his way since 6,6,6 & continues with same dribble each week, will be very sad if another group of players goes by with little success & another rebuild number 4or5 since Daniher!

whilst Covid will impact all club finances one needs to question why our club decided to move out of gaming when not truly in a financial position to do so??? I’m no fan of gambling and understand the impact it has on the community my question why are so many other big clubs still involved eg Hawks. We are a small club in comparison with poor on field success which impacts on our gate takings and just don’t believe we were ready to go down that path as noble as the stance against gaming!

So after debt demolition, endless early draft picks, Peter Jackson restoring stability after inheriting a huge debt, the MFC is once again asking for 5mill! Covid alone this just highlights how poor our finances are & one wonders what is the future???

Member since 1998 just after the failed merger... yet our club has gone around in circles for 2 decades not getting their house in order to meet the current challenges. We have seen debt demolition in the late 00s, the debt that PJ inherited and yet another 1.5 mill loss last year. Before I get shot down yes I will donate but it ever so frustrating seeing Hawthorn who built a war chest prior to their flag in 08 and continued to do so!

Totally agree the integrity of the competition is indeed questionable with what’s occurred in particular the teams in interstate hubs who have been affected and not sure how a premiership winners would be worthy. Unfortunately $$$ are driving the comp, but I wouldn’t enjoy or happy if the Demons won.

Love your positivity but reckon our game plan is flawed, over invested in 2 defenders, not much up front, coach is questionable. Hope I’m wrong but that’s my gut feeling.

Season is a train wreck with less & less integrity as each week goes by. Essendon may not be able to play 6 of their best next week, teams in hubs are struggling. So not sure how anyone winning a flag is truly worthy this year.

Agree we want to see all clubs win deservedly with no handouts etc that’s why this year premiers will be very hollow!

Honestly this season is screwed, one compromise after another, understand the health of all is paramount but the integrity of the comp is in question here now. Game postponed, clubs in interstate hubs, not sure how this is fair for many clubs! Common sense is needed & surely this season should not count for any points or premierships.

Not sure why Jackson is getting games as Roos set up a culture of not gifting games to anyone let alone early draft picks. Understand no current vfl games but why is the Weid having to prove himself & not Jackson??? Neitz retired in 2008 and the club hasn’t be able to draft/develop another key forward since apart from Hogan who never really wanted to be here!

Either way MFC paid overs for both Lever & May, heavily invested in defenders & one questions we let Frost go who would not have cost anywhere near 800K & perhaps used it to lure a Forward after losing Hogan....But why would you want to do that when you building your side around Tom Mac a proven FF after 1 season along with Weidermab who can't get a game! We forget as usual the MFC strategy/game plan was halted when the AFL changed the rules to 6,6,6 & Lever was a great intercept mark.

Steven May Presser say it all as were our club culture is by saying its no big deal! The sad part is there were 2 ex co-captains who didn't take charge to make the players wait for Gawn, Langdon & Tomlinson.... What would Jonathan Brown no about winning culture & premierships....

McDonald played his best at FF & not sure why he’s not playing there??? Looks completely lost Jetta was playing on a forward who was twice his height????
