Don’t disagree with home ground advantage but they have won many away games & finished top 4 many a time ... point here is their culture & leadership within their club vs ours us chalk & cheese

How many games have they played at home this year? Agree ground is hard to play ...we clearly have a culture/ leadership issue

I look @ Geelong & see they haven’t bottomed out & made finals every year since 2007 bar maybe once, consistently always win many games during the season, sure they have failed not winning many finals since 2011 flag & their list has changed yet their strong culture & leadership is ingrained... ours is far from it!!!

Agree we failed against the dogs ( as usual) season has shown up & down games, if we fail against the saints just reinforces we are very average.

Who have we beaten no one in the top 8 bar the pies who’s injury list is huge along with them coming of playing lots of games with short breaks. The test will be next week against the saints.

Will be a repeat of 2017, will just miss finals ... there’s a real mental toughness issue within the group, just can’t maintain the intensity.

Skill level of our mids plus defence work from our fwds wasn’t there ... look how easy coming out of fwd line, constant fumbling by our mids even by Petracca, decision making poor in particular last qtr with the wind going short in the middle & turning it over.

Continue to fail at playing with the intensity that’s required to be a top team, can’t do it for long enough periods, last 3 weeks were great but against quality sides they can’t. Call it game plan, personal, leadership?? Example last qtr with the wind instead of going long they wanted to handball & short kicks & brayshaw turnover sums up our game. Petracca fumbled all day & his kicking was poor.

Dimma should be so proud playing for a dirty team who took out a player... Hope Goody plays next time we play against the tigers

Jackson game time mgt wasn’t great either was Gawn... Gawn should have been rested vs the crows & then Jackson rested the North game, 4 day breaks, 1st year player etc Everyone will say hindsight is great but reckon hasn’t been managed well eg pies rested a number of players against the crows...

I question the mgt of him with 4 day breaks & 1st year player, should he have been rested?

Club Is cursed .. every club has injuries but mfc just seem to cop them at critical times & of course we are playing our boggy team who we always lose to

Skills are rotten & cant kick ..

So we have signed Tomlinson to a 4 year deal & he can’t get a game please explain??? Will the mfc Destroy another afl player career in Tom Mac???

Whats that saying about our recruitment strategy?? No clubs fault hogan wanted to back home etc but why go after another defender & nothing against May but GC used pick 6 to get King who we should have replaced for Hogan understanding would need to develop. We have over invested in defenders & our Fwd line can't function & the ball comes back out faster then it goes in!

The blow torch needs to go on Mahoney also he’s brought in players who all can’t kick well & hit targets. Look at the top sides kicking efficiency vs us

Buck stops with the Coach ... a new fitness coach world class, drafted outside run players Langdon & Tomlinson who cant get a game?? Healthy list vs 2019! What’s he’s excuse??? Understanding hubs has affected all teams, but the team is playing the same as 2019 with poor skill level , turnovers, cant capitalise fwd 50 entries, our kicking skills have been deplorable all season from our so called star mids, excuses , excuses the DNA of the Mfc.. 50 year supporter & the misery continues , my 22 yo son walked out last nite saying wtf did u make me follow a loser team for, all my mates follow clubs that have won flags!

They want sack the coach with another 2 years on his contract as no $$$ and covid has impacted on $$$ .Though maybe they need to the AFl to raise funds to pay him out & chase Ross Lyon

Have said it all along we lack leadership on the field .. Gawn & Viney are play their heart out but are they strong leaders with the players??? Or just captains? There’s a difference..

The current season will have these types of results with 4 day breaks with results showing just that... but honestly this club just finds a way to fall over the cliff , when will it ever step up??

Our field kicking & skill level was deplorable & has been all year! Oliver can’t kick along with majority of all our midfielders! Not sure what our recruiters were looking for but our kicking skill level is pathetic & no we’re near afl standard!
