Clarry was like that before chocco rocked up, he is only 22 has all the tools. The behavioral thing is a beat up, he just got caught. Don't tell me over 50% of the comp haven't "enjoyed" their time off in the off-season. (I'm being very conservative with 50%) Haha, i'm sure if he was one of "our boys" we would love the hair

Has been cleared up, we would not be paying any part of his contract. unless it was on top of what Collingwood are paying. Nothing changes for Collingwood they have agreed to pay X amount over X years, they have to stick to that. John Ralph reported this weeks ago on "on the couch"
  3. I have long been an anti Melksham person, but i think he is crucial now and has to be part of our team going forward even with Fritta coming back, What's the panels thoughts?

Those three are above that level, Smith is a 22yo that has hit elite numbers already. the 2021 final series he was outstanding. How many of our midfielders couldn't kick before Choco came along? This Kid would compliment our midfield perfectly with his speed and line breaking.

SEN reporting that Bailey Smith at the dogs isn't happy with not getting midfield time. He is out of contract at the end of next year. If there is any truth to this we should pounce, this kid is a superstar and would be the perfect rotation for Petracca and the pace our midfield needs.
  6. Interesting game, hawks came with a plan that was working, but after half time we made a plan for their plan and strangled their ball movement. Good win with our stars having quiet games. I watched T-Mac in the VFL today and think we need to have him in. we cant have Petracca, Sparrow and Melksham taking ruck contests in our forward line. T-mac played very well, lead up and presented, kicked 3 and took a few marks. Played the exact game we need from him at AFL. Does he come in? The only issue we have is when Fritta comes back we can't have T-Mac, Fritta, Melksham and smith in the same team
  7. 6 - Rivers 5 - Lever 4 - Melksham 3 - Brayshaw 2 - Sparrow 1 - Gawn
  8. yet another slow start
  9. Tough loss, bit of polish let them down. Dan turner was outstanding and close to our best on ground. Spargo was creative and a good link up player with limited options forward. T-Mac was great, and had he not been playing we lose by 5 goals, he led up well created contests and took some important marks as well as 3 goals. Grundy, he is a ruckman, but unfortunately we have to play him forward because if he is to get into the AFL side that where he will need to play. Dunstan was his usual self just a great depth player Woey had some great moments and some skill errors, is leaning and developing well. Jefferson is developing well, he will get his marking and physical side of his game later but he is going to be a good mobile CHF i think AMW had a quieter game, but is an exciting 19yo Verrall is another one i like how he is developing, especially for a young Ruck. he was soundly beaten by Fort who is an AFL lever ruck. but that was body work, his tap work looks good, once he learns how to hold his ground and position with a few pre-seasons in the gym, i think he will be good.
  10. Has been one of our best. our only forward presenting well and has provided a contest all day. his footy smarts has shown at times too. He and Spargo have been very good
  11. it's his second game. plus been back in full training for a month. they will know
  12. And had a couple of poor tackle attempts. was very good in the first though.
  13. 3 tackles, the second highest for the dees. has been fine for a tall forward
  14. Turner has been outstanding under pressure
  15. We have been very good in transition off deep turnovers. but Bris have tightened up this quarter.
  16. yeh he physically isn't at the level. but goot to see they are building up his aerobic game, which is his strength
  17. Will see what we need in near 3 quarters
  18. T-Mac looking solid, id expect him to be taken of in the 3rd and rested up
  19. Recon these jumpers at to much of a clash
  20. Great transition there!

Yup, all the talk was that it is happening then in true AFL form they back flipped. Be interesting if i was to come in next year if we could convince Grundy to stay

i actually think clubs we of the belief that there would be 5 on the bench and not a sub and that screwed them a bit. Swans is the perfect fit for him if he leaves, premiership contenders and good midfield. if we could somehow get Ladhams in the deal id be happy. Just as ruck back up, not paying much for him though.

650k for an AA ruck is a steal. don't need to add extras to it

He is, have a limit we are willing to pay and if WC want more, walk away and get the next best kid. there are some good kids after him, but GC also have some of them wrapped up through academy.

I think we finish 4th and play Collingwood in first round of finals. I actually think this would be a good result, getting Collingwood with a few players coming in after time out of the game! i would be happy to go to Adelaide to but that now is all but ruled out. Bris in Bris is the only fixture that really worries me!
