AFLW can train and play at Casey, the VFL can train and play at Casey. The AFL can train on one oval in Caulfield. Tell me how that doesn’t work

Hahaha....maybe....just been mowing 2 foot high grass and the ride on threw a belt leaving me an acre and a half of tall grass and no mower till early January.

Personally I find the need for 2 ovals completely ridiculous. Just give me one good reason why a team needs 2? They train for about 9-10 hours a week on an oval. The rest in a gym.
  4. Going to be hard for the Suns to fit them all in
  5. The turnover aspect is interesting. We may well be moving the ball how we see the better teams do it. Thus leaving the emphasis on serious pressure to cause a turnover. If we can cause a turnover to teams on a fast break Fritsch will kick 100 goals.

I drive along Kambrook Rd past Caulfield Racetrack 3 times a week. My partner did some markets on the inside of the track. It’s a superb location for the club. It will solidify our return to relevance in a big way. Here’s hoping!
  7. They’re always the team to beat, along with Carlton, Essendon and Hawthorn.

Who cares what a hack journo writes. It feels very 50-50 atm although some encouraging noises seem to be floating around.
  9. The Brand is the ultimate professional. I’ve absolutely no doubt he’ll perform to incredibly high standards again this year. The difference is he’s had a long lay off, his body should be relatively fresh. He’s also at his absolute prime. I’m expecting huge things from him this year. Think the last quarter against Carlton but on a near weekly basis. He’s going to be pretty damn close to unstoppable in 25. He’s the main reason I’m expecting us to bounce back hard.
  10. From all reports the house is already demolished
  11. Rubbish, the Pies are to be despised and beaten. We are currently unable to do that although the 23 QF was very unlucky

Personally I think the money is the least of the problems. If we get the green light the money will flow like wine
  13. Thats for JVR, Turner, Fritsch, Petracca and co
  14. Yep, I want a split pack foward
  15. B: Lever May McVee HB: Windsor Petty Salem C: Langdon Viney Bowey HF: Petracca JVR Langford F: Fritsch Turner Johnson R: Gawn Oliver Rivers INT: Sparrow Tholstrup Chandler Laurie/Pickett SUB: Campbell/McAdam/Melksham/AMW/George Once Pickett is back Laurie will likely drop out.
  16. If he gets injured during preseason Roy George says hello
  17. The jury isn’t out. It’s in baby and so are the Dee’s….in the top 4 that is.
  18. We absolutely want Oliver bursting from packs with drive and power. I’m talking about not grabbing ball in pack and then swinging onto boot. That’s what I don’t want to see
  19. Certainly if we allow Oliver to dump kick we’re in trouble. The key is for him to use handball more often than not. Both he and Tracc need to feed the run of Rivers, the wings and even the HB’s and HF’s to ensure our kicking into F50 is much better

The bloke sounds like a loose cannon
  21. When I watch him play, look at his speed, size, solid kick, fierce competitor all I see is a HBF/wingman. I think the club knows this as well
  22. Whatever Trevor! that’s a joke by the way

I want a report in triplicate on my desk by 9 on Sunday, 11 if your horse wins!

His form at Casey was underwhelming. Unlikely to ever be part of our best 25
