Unbelievable player, as good as we’ve had at his peak but his slide has been quickened by the change in game style. Even if he was I’d still suggest his first line would be “trade me to the Hawks” over “swap me for Petracca” Don’t get me wrong I’m in the give them Petracca and something (bar our first round pick next year) to make this happen. Hardwick knows his value.

Taking your support out of the equation which club are you picking right now if indeed you want to break your contract, go through the media 💩storm and relocate?

For mine both these statements have merit. I’m in the need a player camp but I don’t see a world where Petracca comes back to us. If we accept 6 and 17 then we’ve blinked first by a wide margin. The club has to get a starting 18 player out of GC in any deal. Take the picks, dump the entire salary and get to work on next year’s trade and free agency period.

Whilst it’s always been highly unlikely what these guys say doesn’t change the dial.

Possibly but Hardwick would surely have watched Petracca this year. I just don’t see him switching out the two and thinking he’s improved their chances. I’d take Humphrey over Petracca in 2026 everyday of the week.

Agreed but if you’re GC why do you let him go for Petracca when he’s contracted on low money for 3 more years? This is the bit that has the question marks around it and is the reason we’re even in the conversation to land him. It’s what’s in those question marks that makes this intriguing.
